Ok I'm adding this today ***because everyone says "I want a good guy and I'm sick of dating jerks that don't pay attention to me." Ok perfect but before you go any further think about it. I have been amicably separated for over 4 years. I am not recently separated trying to get a piece while we work things out. I consider myself single but I want to be completely honest so there are no surprises. Ok so now that's out of the way who am I! Well I am a 42 year old proud Father of 2. I have a son 13 and a daughter 9 and they live with me half the week. I am an old school guy in many respects I believe that chivalry never died there are just fewer of us who have a clue what that means. If you were to ask my friends about me they would probably tell you that I'm a great guy nice to a fault and quiet at first but once comfortable can fit in with any crowd whether it be drinks at some dive biker bar or a nice dinner at a fancy place in town. I like to have fun and do things in my free time like golf, fishing, poker, pool, see a concert or band somewhere.I am looking to date and ultimately find a special person to share time with and grow with but please understand that I am not rushing into anything and I want to date someone on the same page that isn't just looking to be in a relationship to be in a relationship. I was married 12 years and I know what I want but I know more what I don't want. I don't want to suffocate each other. That's not to say I don't want to spend lots of time with this person I just mean that I think everyone needs to be their own person and just because you're in a relationship you shouldn't have to be just a couple you should still be your own person. I would like to find a smart, funny,independent woman who likes herself as a person and who is looking for a man who is not intimidated by a strong will and confidence. I love to take good care of a woman I am involved with but not because I have to take care of them because I want to do everything I can for someone I care about and hope my special someone feels the same way. I believe a good couple is made up of two equals, partners in crime so to speak, with some similar likes but also some differences that keep each others heads on straight and allow for quality alone time.All my female friends tell me they wish they could meet a guy like me but here I am looking because women seem to be afraid of the nice guy thinking they will be bored. Well I will promise you you will not be bored. I was raised right and know how to treat a woman but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy a good time.
