Where to start... I'm a transplant from the DC area. Went to school at the beach (UNCW) and miss it sometimes. Plus with the coast and mountains being close, It makes for some good weekend options. :). I’m family oriented and very thankful for my two kids. They are my world and constantly make me smile. They also remind me not to take life too seriously.At the end of the day, I want to share the day’s events with someone special. I believe in love and that one person can be both a best friend and a lover. I am convinced that chemistry, communication and honesty are essential for a successful relationship and feel no relationship can work without them. Passion and intimacy are also extremely important. I am affectionate and romantic and really like to make the person I'm with feel loved in many ways…..and I love the same in return :) Taking care of myself is something I enjoy. Health and physical fitness are important and hope you would feel the same. I have done several triathlons and mud runs in the last couple years and plan to do more. they are a great motivator to stay in shape. For as long as I can remember, I have been an outdoors and water lover. And who doesn't like relaxing next to a bon fire with a beer (and s'mores') or at the beach with toes in the sand.I love to travel and hope to do more someday soon. The more places I go, the more places I want to visit… Part of the reason I'm here is to find someone who would be interested in exploring new place and experiences together. "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass... It's about learning to dance in the rain."I am divorced. It is something I never really wanted. I have learned a lot from my former relationships and try to apply it to better my life. I am a believer that things happen for a reason and I find myself in a much better place. I am ready to have someone in my life again.
