I believe a relationship is based on trust, honesty, and respect tied all together with open communication. I am a loyal person, and have a good set of morals. I was raised catholic, but do not really practice an organized religion. I have kids, they do not live with me, but are part of my life. I am looking to get to know someone and see where things go, I want to enjoy life and my free time. I like doing things like walking, hiking, swimming, people watching. I write short stories as a hobby. I have had the pleasure of seeing 49 states and most of western Europe. I enjoy travel, and experiencing different cultures. I like to try new things, and love to see new places. I enjoy sports, music, and the theater. I enjoy spending time out doors, be it hiking or just relaxing in a park with a good book. I like to think of myself as being down to earth. I’m often referred to as a nice guy. I am very honest, basically, I'll tell you as it is, and if its not that nice I'll warn you first. I have a great sense of humor and enjoy laughter. I can tend to be a bit sarcastic though, although never malicious.I’m looking for someone that I can build a relationship with, someone to share hopes and dreams with, someone that I can be there for and count on during the hard times. Someone that is witty, bright, compassionate, and that has an opinion. I'm not looking for perfection, materialism, or selfishness. I am hoping to find someone that I can grow old with.
