Hi and thanks for taking a minute to read my profile.....I always have a positive attitude I am always smiling as you can see from my pictures. Life is too short not to have fun and enjoy what has been given to you. I am open to new experiences and will try almost anything once.....twice to make sure I didn't like it the first time. ;-) I think fun comes from who you are with rather than what you are doing. I bring a good time with me everywhere. I am very creative and have a photography background. I like going out on the town or staying home. I like department stores or thrift stores. I am flexible......Find out more about me when we talk in person....BTW...I have daughter that is 5(yes I started late in life but it was my choice and I would not change it. I would not be the great dad I am now if I would have had her earlier) so if you are not willing to date someone with a younger child then please don't waste my time or your time.... If you are ok with my status, my daughter and I will bring smiles and laughter to your life and probably tears too but that is normal......Congratulation for getting to this point. UPDATE...... I enjoy traveling, reading, Hockey and work. I have a 12 year old daughter whom I have full custody of so most of my time is spent raising her.;man"nerisms. I plan on going next year more than once, it's absolutely fabulous. I also enjoy fishing, camping and doing something every weekend with family.I'm also a huge Hockey fan! First date would be something casual; a cup o' joe, a small meal, nothing too dramatic. A bit more than a meet and greet but nothing that would last half the day.

Living here in S.D.) keeps me outside as much as possible so I don't have any indoor hobbies other than reading when the mood strikes me. I'd rather be enjoying outdoor activities (exploring new areas, restaurants, tourist destinations, music, theatres, etc...) I retired from the Navy in ***, still relatively young. At first, most define me (prior to a few drinks, haha) as reserved and observant... I'm definitely far from perfect, have made my share of mistakes, open minded & occasionally impulsive. I have a wide social network of friends and that is the most important thing in my life at this point. While, I am a little over 40, I don't feel or look like the traditional 40 something of my parents' generation, and attribute that to good genes, good diet, and lots of exercise. I love music in all forms and listen to everything from House, Electronica, Top 40 R&B, POP, Jazz, Ez listening, 70s-90s rock. She is someone who takes pride in her health, fitness, and appearance. I like girly girls that get their hands/feet maniucured and just like being feminine. Her enthusiasm is infectious and grounded with a strong sense of identity, purpose and independence coupled with a desire to also want together time in balance. I enjoy spending down time with her but she should want her own space like me (once in a while) that gives both of us some time to retain our identities, and miss eachother a little at the same time. She is someone who garners respect and makes a good impression on others. Most importantly, she's open minded and has unwaivering integrity.Ultimately, I want to find someone for friendship that is undefined at first that will naturally evolve as our friendship does the same. While I'm very-very open minded, I have a adverse reaction toward deception, and those that are liars and jealous in a relationship and expect that you feel the same.????What what separates me from the pack? My attention to detail, affectionate nature (PDAs very ok with me), great kisser, assertiveness, ability to listen, empathy, and in general, just gitterdun! I plan for a living and like to keep a little mystery in the mix, so I'll let this remain undone until I meet a great girl, sound good? But I will say that my date planning ability is never dull and I'm always prepared... almost like a boyscout :0), to be continued...PS.
