I'm looking for someone who actually wants to meet ...with the option of having a relationship. I know I am no fashion plate, I could use help in that department. None of us are perfect. You will find me laid back and easy going, I feel comfortable in most environments. I'm happy with where I am in life, I'm just looking for the right person to share it with. Smiles, laughter, and doing things together are what is important - shared memories (the "share" part is important). In the world that I was raised: a man should be able to protect his family, is expected to be able to fix things around the house (not just hire someone else to fix them), be a good role model for kids, and be employed. I like quirky shops and dive bars, road trips with no destination, camping (tent), any water related activity, really almost anything outside and in the country (I am a lot more country than most would ever expect), ...but also like cooking, travel, NICE hotels, GOOD food, and the nice things city life has to offer. I know, I'm an odd assortment of opposites. I don't really care what we are doing as long as we both are having fun doing it. Playing cards, festivals, and local events. There are activities going on almost every weekend ...let's do some of them! I've traveled a lot, and am always up for a road trip.I have realistic expectations, I'm not perfect and I don't expect you to be either. I refuse to have the fun sucked out of my life and I hope you are the same. I've done the manual labor and blue collar jobs. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty and actually enjoy it ...but the purpose of work is to make money so we can play in our free time. I have an interesting job that is a bit outside of the norm. The right person will be there for the good times, and have the ability to not bail during the rough times. I will not let geography be a restrictive boundary at this point in my life. My job gives me the ability to pick anywhere in a number of States to live, so relocating is a possibility.I am a single father who spent the last 18 years raising my son. I enjoyed raising him. My son is away at college and my house is recovering slowly. Optimal dating range is ***, but I will respond to those outside that range too. I'm happy with where I'm at in life. Now we just need to find each other. First dates should be someplace where both people are comfortable, where it is easy to talk, and there is some activity.I not interested in talk for months without meeting unless you are looking for a penpal.

... I guess I should talk a little about me and what I am looking for. I recently sold my business that I had worked for the last four years and moved here. Its been a great experience but I am always looking for new challenges. You can't grow if you don't try new things, right? So I am here to meet more people here and see where it goes from there.. As for what I am looking for, I would like someone who sees the good in others even when they may not deserve it. A person who smiles, laughs, and just lights up any room she walks into....Someone who can have an intelligent conversation about many different topics but can see others point of view even if they disagree. A person that can be comfortable dressing up but can hang out at a local dive bar playing old songs on the jukebox. I also am looking for that person who has a sweetness about them and can laugh at themselves....As for me, I try to keep fit and would like someone who is into being pretty healthy, with that being said, I exercise so I can be healthy and have pizza and a beer when i want.... I spend my time between work, gym and have a harley but am not a freak about it, I just like getting out and seeing new sights. And I look good in leather lol....... Life is amazing, and every day just makes me smile!! I have three, beautiful, healthy children! Soon to be 12 year old, blond haired, blue eyed Angel, and handsome, soon to be 10 year twin boys!!!
