To be honest, I would much rather laugh than fight, and I would much rather romance you than make up with you. I am an offshore logistics consultant who is often gone for work. I spend about two weeks at a time at work, then home for a couple of weeks, then back. I am sarcastic and can laugh the hardest at myself more than others. I am wanting to have a child before I get too old, haha, but we don't always get what we want. I have several tattoos. Most of my upper body is covered. They cannot be seen with a t-shirt on. I am told that my eyes my greatest asset. I am rebuiling my life after losing much due to some bad personal choices. I have a much greater appreciation for what I have now. I shoot pool, but drinking is not a requirement. To party is one thing, to have it as a lifestyle is another. Been there and done that. That is a matter of personal choice, and I would not try to mandate or influence in any way the choices made by anyone i may be hanging out with. I do not get drunk or get loaded simply because I do not like who I am when under the influence. I am not against drinking and partying as an ***, I just know my own limitations. I am no moviestar, but I know that I am not repulsive. You won't need to hide me in the closet when company comes around...lol. Sex is not hard for me to get. Just not all that I am looking for today. I want the intimate companionship that comes with loving the one meant for you. To all I sincerely hope that you find the arms of the one meant for you. Secure and mature guy who nonetheless has the heart of a kid. The fact that I work with lots and lots of young adults everyday also probably keeps me in a more youthful mindset. To say I'm "well traveled" would be something of an understatement; exploration is still my chief passion. My dream job has already become a reality, so no complaints there. I can be nerdy, but people are generally surprised to find that I have athletic abilities as well. That said, jogging has never appealed to me, to be honest. If I'm running, there needs to be a good reason. :-) I'm fairly articulate and outgoing, so I meet people easily and tend to be in the heart of the discussion at social engagements. People tell me that I have a way of putting them at ease. Even my ex-girlfriends still like me :-) Though I've lived in LA for 20 years now, it's still something of a mystery to me. It's sort of a blessing and a curse to have an outside perspective of the city. Some people have a hard time figuring out how different aspects of my personality mesh (e.g., I'm a wine enthusiast and a Harley rider), but I'm not about to apologize for letting my freak flag fly. I'm open-minded and accepting and expect the same in return. This is my debut venture with online dating - it's alien. If I meet even one cool person from this source, though, that's got to count as a success, right? Anywhere we can talk, really.
