I enjoy movies, going out to clubs and seeing live bands, playing guitar, and simply having fun at various places. I like being a funny person and believe that humor is very important. I also like quiet times with someone which could include intellectual discussion, games, movies, or just simply spending quality time together.I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Philosophy. I plan on earning a Ph.D. in Philosophy within the next few years (currently taking a break from studies officially). I also have played guitar professionally in bands in the past. I have written an recorded professional music and have toured with and opened for National level rock bands. The stage is where I belong!I believe that good, solid friendship is important in order for any potential relationship to develop and be maintained. I would like to meet someone that shares that same perspective. Being very good friends is the best foundation for a relationship to last.I am very open minded when it comes to music. I usually listen to about all genres except religious and Country. Yet, I have heard some Country songs I can enjoy. What I listen to is usually determined by my mood. The quality of the song, I think, is much more important than what genre the song belongs to.I'm very easy to get along with. I also typically can adapt to new situations easily.     I find it easy to fit into different crowds. I grew up on the family farm killing snakes, running the bush-hog and worming cows. In high school, I was an athlete and in AP classes. I was able to kick back with the jocks or the nerds. To this day I am an avid football fan. I also built my own computer. I work on my own vehicles and get my eyebrows trimmed. I love to shoot guns and to paint.I love heavy metal but I rarely listen to it. I love to play video games but rarely play more than an hour or two on the weekend. Of course, there's always water parks...I don't know what it is but I love water slides and want to go back to Schlitterbahn one day. I think I have a thing for the water...because learning to dive is definitely on the list. Of course, this is not all I would like to do before I leave this Earth, I want to purchase an older muscle car and restore it.I have just begun to learn to play guitar. I don't know any songs yet but I'm learning chords and how to read music.Books: The "Song of Ice and Fire" series, "Lord of the Rings" series, Ender's Game. I typically enjoy SiFi and fantasy novels. I do read other things. I'm currently reading "Get Your House Right", a book on house design dos and don'ts.TV: I watch Big Bang Theory reruns if I can. I'm on the last season of Battle Star Galactica on netflix. I never miss the Walking Dead. On occasion I watch Swamp People, I know a couple of those guys so it's funny to watch them on television. Hell's Kitchen, Masterchef, Kitchen Nightmares...if I weren't so good at my job, I think I'd become a chef.Movies: I have enjoyed: Mall Rats, Clerks, Idiocracy, Wanted, the Star Wars trilogy, 30 days of night, Star Ship Troopers. I'll check out any horror or Sifi . I also like comedy (not slapstick so much, I don't usually enjoy Dumb and Dumber type movies) and anything with a good story that'll make you think. Punk, Metal, Rock, old country. My radio is usually tuned to 92.Food: Seafood, Steak...I eat just about anything, except sushi. Yes, I have tried sushi, I just don't like it.
