I'll try to make this short, But I do tend to talk a bit, so sit back and get comfortable....New to the SouthWest Coast.I am a bit of a dreamer, with a dash of hopeless romantic. The romantic in me would like to think fate will bring us together by chance, but expecting her to just fall into my lap with no effort is a little to hopeless romantic. So this profile is my way of giving fate a few more opportunities to make that happen. I am a fairly laid back person, happy sitting and having a talk, or equally happy with pretty much any activity. After all, it is who you are with, not what you are doing. I have a pretty good idea where I am going in life, but I like to keep the details of that road a surprise. I find life's short cuts and road blocks all part of the fun of the trip.If you want a good look into my philosophy on life you should read the poem "Desiderata" or search for "Pale blue dot" on YouTube, narrated by Carl Sagan. No I'm not that perfect, or summed up in a poem and a YouTube video. But they are a couple good guidelines for living life. I try to follow them.I love the outdoors, Hiking, Camping, Fires in the back yard. Most afternoons you will find me walking my dog down at the waterfront and taking her for a swim in the ocean (she swims, not me). I have recently taken up shooting and just love it.What I'm looking for in a partner. Hard thing to put on paper. Too easy to just say partner, but that is exactly what I'm looking for. Someone who is my equal, who I can say anything to, someone who can sit in silence and and just be with, or sit and talk with ease, someone who can laugh at life's speed bumps as just part of the road we must go down. I really have everything I want in life, a great job, a home, an awesome son, and one of the best dogs in the world, I really do not want for anything. But after being happily single for some time I do want someone to share all I have with, to share my time with. I do find the whole chat/message thing a bit stale and static, Just not as enjoyable as talking in person so bare with me, I do try. lolA few things about me that usually do not come up in casual conversation. - I am a bit touchy, not groping, but physical contact is a big thing for me, whether it is just a graze on the arm during conversation, or as I walk by you, or just pulling you close and holding you while we talk. - I say what I mean, and I mean what I say. No cryptic meanings, or head games. So I am looking for the same.- Age is not a huge deal for me, with the right person. If you are younger, than a level of maturity beyond your years. If you are older, Than a level of fun and vibrancy. Really just if we match than we match. - I think how we are when we are first dating, affection, respect, and just our way of being should remain through the years. Yes relationships evolve, but I feel some core things should remain the same.- Kids, blended families, and other relationship issues. I feel these things should be talked about early on in a relationship if it looks like it’s going to flourish, not after they become a topic to discuss. A hike up a mountain somewhere on a sunny day with a good breeze blowing. We find the perfect place to stop for a picnic, maybe a shaded plateau overlooking a lake. We will talk for hours losing track of the time. Realizing we have lost sunlight and might get lost we decide to camp there for the night, (I just happened to bring two tents)..... To be continued.

    Okay, so here is the hard part, right. hmm... I can sit and relax listening to Frank Sinatra, Journey, or Five Finger Death Punch.
