Life isn't always straight forward. I've learnt the hard way the true value of honesty, compassion, kindness and trust. On balance I'm confident I've done more good to people than bad which is probably as good a measure of a man's character as any. I believe - within reason - it's what you do in the end that counts.I've seen something of the world but I'm very much aware that I've still got a lot to learn. I think I'm fairly resilient; over the years I've managed to break my nose, my shoulder twice, a few ribs, fractured my shin and torn a ligament in my ankle and as far as I'm aware everything still pretty much works OK.e. I guess in some ways I'm unconventional - you probs. need to be OK with tattoos - but I'm also into the standard guy things e.g. football, BBQs, lawnmowers etc...To be honest I'm not the best at relaxing and generally need to be doing something, but you know, if you're like that too, it could probably work out pretty good! Go for coffee?

I would have to describe myself as defiantly an outdoors type of person. I enjoy long walks and exploring new places, whilst attempting to try and use my new camera. I have recently taken up painting , and it's great being out and getting ideas for scenery to paint. I'm an outgoing social person with a great circle of friends but I'm always keen to meet someone new. I laugh a lot and enjoy life, I say yes to a lot of things, you never know when you'll next get the chance to do something. I work hard but doesn't everyone these days! I go out to a lot of gigs...and I mean a lot, both old and new bands and also comedy nights so that's a big hobby for me. I get to the gym when I can but should go more! I love to travel and my new job should offer more of that hopefully. I've never tried internet dating so I have no idea what to expect from it and don't want to be too prescriptive, that's always been my fear about it. You know, must be this, must be that but does meeting someone you like really mean picking traits from a list? Who knows? But I'm here now so let's see what happens! Probably a drink and maybe dinner. That sounds a bit formulaic so I'm open to doing anything that sounds fun.
