When Dad arrived home from work, he was greeted by me with a wood axe in my hand and a simple greeting: 'Giant won't get us no more Dad!'Most embarrassing moment: Telling my friend's Dutch auntie she was a great piece of a**e in Dutch when I thought I was just saying "Very good" as she handed me a drink! Most painful experience: losing half the skin off my face during a skiing holiday in Austria thanks to a "mate" pushing me through a bush on our way home from the pub one night - OUCH!! (That's right - nothing to do with skiing!)

The reason I joined this site is that last year I got out of a long term relationship and most of my friends are now married... So basically at this point I'd like to meet some interesting people, maybe develop some friendships and just expand my social network a little.I'm really not into "clubbing" per se and I don't have much time for it either but I have to say every now and then, i like to go out dancing in a good company (I mostly go to salsa places but I'm open to "normal" dance type of places as well...) . So it'd be great to meet some people who are into that too. My other interests include , seeing a live comedy show, going for drinks, brunches, tennis, wakeboarding, I really like taking long walks on Mont-Royal ... . I click best with people who have a good sense of humor and who can carry an intelligent conversation. A bit more about me: I'm university educated, hard working, ambitious, genuine, family-oriented, respectful, emotionally stable and very dependable. Serious about my life’s goals but I also love to joke around and have a great laugh. I'd say I'm a bit of both - calm and active and a relatively balanced mix of artistic, sporty and intellectual. Just as I like to do stuff, I definitely find a lot of pleasure in staying in and watching a movie on a cold day. Aside from working full time, I also spend quite a bit of time each week on a non-commercial artistic project which means that I have a pretty busy schedule. Having said that, I always find time for people close to me.Completely as a sidenote, as far as dating goes... I'll just say this: I don't want to rush into something too quickly, without knowing the person first.
