I enjoy life...period. There are opportunities to laugh in almost any situation, people just choose not to find them. I think I laugh more than the average person, and I am looking to meet my match in that category. And I am a bit sarcastic, if I do say so myself. My hobbies seem to change with time, and the seasons. I am very into music and the arts. I played in a band for years, and am slowly getting back into writing music. I am a bit of a craft beer nut, and am always exploring new tastes and styles, as well as food pairings. I've gotten into homebrewing this past year, and have brewed several batches that were actually drinkable.During the spring and summer months, I am an avid vegetable gardener, all heirloom varieties, tomatoes and peppers my specialty.I am very into family and friends. Many can't believe I am still close to friends from Little League and High School. We schedule times to all meet up at least quarterly, as we all live in different states. Always a great time.I love the company I work for, the car I drive, the house I live in. But something is missing... What it boils down to is, I'm into the other side of the coin...the music no one has discovered, the heirloom vegetables very few eat, the jokes few understand, the beer few have tasted. Like I said, I enjoy life. I would just like to find someone to enjoy it with.The woman I am seeking will be my best friend. Start off as that and grow. Ultimately, we will be completely comfortable in each others company. She will understand my faults and foibles, and I, hers. She would rather look at me than into a mirror, and be as comfortable with wing sauce on her chin watching a ballgame, as at a black tie affair sipping a glass of "whatever high-end liquor mentioned in a hip-hop song" is. She can laugh at herself as well as at me, and ask me deep questions that keep me on my toes. something unique and unusual. A little about me: My hopes are to meet some great people and in particular 1 great person who rocks my world! I don't mind casual dating while I am looking for "Ms. Right" as sitting home is not my ideal for habitual fun. Sure I enjoy a few shows on TV but that is why they invented the DVR. I'm easy going, fun, passionate, intelligent, open and honest. Life has been good and I'm just looking for someone to share it with. I am considered by some (those with a sense of humor themselves) to be very quick and funny with jokes out of left field as well as a bit quirky. I think that is important because it can help to break an awkward moment, if one were to arise. I want to be someone's cheerleader when something good or exciting happens, but also be the shoulder for them to cry on when something upsetting takes place. I can be the most gentle person and would never intentionally hurt anyone. I never want to be considered a pushover because I am accommodating to a lady I am with.I don't have many turnoffs at all...... The one that comes to mind are tattoos. Being of Jewish decent it is something that is typically frowned upon and not something that I find attractive. Other than that, I am not very judgmental.Being able to be there for someone through the good times and the tough makes a relationship stronger and is another building block in my opinion. Do you agree?I am a single father of an 8 year old daughter who is with me 50% of the time. I am looking for someone who can accept the fact that she needs me as a father as that is role #1 and that special someone with have tons of time where I can devote 100% of my attention. An 8 year old goes to sleep kind of early so even nights she is with me we would be able to chat, etc.I love to drive and having someone of interest in the passenger seat next to me, fingers interlocked together on the center console with the sunroof opened and listening to music as your hair blows in the wind. We drive with no preset destination and when one of us gets hungry we pull over and use Yelp or the navigation system to find a place that is new to both of us. Creating experiences together is a thought that gets me excited as it is another building block of a relationship. Also, isn't cuddling with someone you care for the most amazing feeling in the world? I was raised primarily by my mom so chivalry is not dead with me. I was taught how to properly treat a lady, respect, etc. I open car doors, door to places we enter and exit, hold an umbrella over you so you don't get soaked, drive closer to the door so you don't have to run through the puddles if you are dressed nicely. From what I am told this is not common these days, why not? It shows that you care! I ask one favor of any lady that gets this far into my narrative. I would like to know if there is anything in particular that jumps out at you and made you uninterested in my profile. I have thick skin and think that in life we need to accept criticism and I welcome your feedback to help me make my profile a better read to those that show an interest. I am entering this with opened eyes and hope that in the end it is a storybook you will help me to write.
