This is my reboot! There are some terrific people here but I haven't found the one who makes my heart race when he sends me a text or gives me a quick call. Places, people and things I enjoy: I grew up on the east coast so I love water and beaches and I don't care where the sand gets! Life seems to be going quickly so taking time to "chill" is essential. I am looking for a smart and funny man who enjoys music, friends, quiet evenings at home and dressing up for a special evening out. I am hoping that you can express himself and his opinions. Tell me what you're thinking-I know you aren't a mind reader and my crystal ball is on the fritz so lets be open with each other! I don't want to argue about politics but a spirited discussion can get the blood moving. I am a smart woman with an interesting life (at least I find my life interesting!) I have good friends and work hard to BE a good friend. To me, it's not the number of people in my life but the quality of people I surround myself with. A healthy lifestyle is also important. I love wine and mourn the loss of Twinkies but in general I eat well and maintain a fitness schedule. I work out 4 times weekly; yoga, cardio-endurance classes, swimming and weight lifting are part of my weekly regime. The "no drama" clause we all see...please, we're human and unless we live in a bubble...there is going to be some drama. I don't create it and don't want to bring drama into my life but when it appears I handle it-how is that for real? Friends can help each other through those times, as well. Random thoughts: I love music of all kinds and there are small venues where I can sit and listen to local musicians and that is probably my favorite way to enjoy a group. New and different kinds of foods are a passion. I enjoy the theatre and am part of the arts in my community-I am an organizer not the talent!I'm looking for someone special and there has to be a spark. It's indefinable but we'll feel it or not. I like all types of music, but classic rock, and country are my favorites. I cherish my family and I love animals. I have cats and a dog, I feed the birds and the squirrels and the chipmunks. I also love gardening. I'm an RN that would love to build my own animal rescue someday. My granddaughters are the loves of my life, they are what makes me want to get up every morning.I'm not on here looking for a one night stand, or to meet some unhappy married man... or a guy in his 20's that likes older women... sorry. Im a giver not a taker and a lover not a fighter. I love the outdoors except not so much in the winter, then I like to start a fire in the fireplace and snuggle up in front of it. I'm very easy to get along with so I don't mean to sound so harsh on here about what I dont like or don't want from this site. I just have standards. Good luck on your fishing expedition... A nice dinner or a motorcycle ride sounds nice (if ya got one, if not no biggie), or cookout and watch a movie, or go out to see a local band and have a drink.
