About Me

Are you kidding me I wrote all of this clever stuff and it timed out...oh well leave it to your imagination! Where's my cow tipping part? Back off PETA...just kidding.Could't answer all bio questions properly ex; Parents had 1 child (me) so no real good answer regarding birth order and Body type is not average I'm curvy OK on to the REAL Specs:I enjoy dining out both fine dining as well as a picnic with fruit, cheese and possibly wine (OK forget that everyone likes to eat). I enjoy spending time with my "Special needs" sons,my dog and friends. I like to go boating and swimming and I enjoy practicing at the shooting range. I also have a passion for volunteering, spending Sundays at church and stimulating conversation. Some information that should be perfectly clear is that my "special needs" sons (adopted about 26 years ago) live with me. At this juncture that is their choice. I made a commitment to love and protect them many years ago and I will continue to carry out my responsibilities and my joy..My life is great the way it is right now so to have an amazing man to be a part of that will be a bonus. . .The real me is barefoot in the country in a pair of cut-offs in a tank top, laughing and joking with friends. Maybe a little fishing, if I don't have to be quiet. Singing country music with the radio up loud. Spending time with cows and horse. I don't really like birds they scare the crap out of me. I like Hummingbirds cause they like to fight...What makes me unique, well that would be everything. I defiantly don't fit anyone's mold. I can dress to impress and knock it out in jeans and boots. My sense on humor is truly goofy and I'm not afraid to laugh at myself. I have been everything from Business Owner to Longhorn Wrangler. I have been involved in Search and Recovery for many years. I am not looking for a booty call either. As far as music I like Country, Blues, Jazz and more. Public meeting place.

Ive been here before. I've been shy about meeting people. I've decided life is too short to be alone. It's time to get out and meet people and have fun!!! I love to listen to live music. I do enjoy 70's and 80's music very much. I love to laugh. I've been told I'm a bit sarcastic. I enjoy what I do for work and sometimes I throw myself into it. I'm looking for a distraction from it. I do have a granddaughter and I really enjoy spending time with her. Happy fishing!!!!!

I keep seeing profiles that say things like "I'm looking for a woman who likes hiking, canoing, sports and camping". This confuses me. Are you looking for a woman to replace your guy friends? Shared interests are nice, sure. But say you find this elusive guy in a hot chick's body that you all seem to be looking for. The first time you want to go to a football game with your buddies she's going to be all like "DUDE!! I can't believe you went without me!!!"So here's me. I do not hike. I go for walks in the park and would love it if you'd go with me. If not, no biggie. My dog is more than happy to go.I do not canoe. Nor do I raft. Or waterski. If you have a boat that's big enough that I can walk around on it, count me in. As long as I don't have to get too sweaty.I do not snow ski either.Sports...meh. I'd like to go to a game or two a year. If you want. If not, it's cool. I LOVE camping. In a cabin or camper. Preferably with air conditioning.Because here's the thing...I'm a CHICK! I'm looking for someone to go on, yaknow, DATES with. Dinner. A movie. Or we can stay in and rent a DVD and I'll cook. Or we can cook together. We can do the kind of things you wouldn't dream of doing with your buddies. Ok end of rant. That's just been bugging me. I am a 47 year old divorced single mom with a good job, my own home, an 18 year old son, an amicable relationship with my ex husband and no drama! My hope is to find an intelligent, funny, independent, employed, responsible but fun male with the shared goal of getting off meetville for good. In my spare time I volunteer for a dog rescue, go to movies, read, hang out with my dogs. Concerts and comedy clubs and cooking are all fun with someone but not so much fun alone. I love animals of all kinds. I have two small dogs. I don't put clothes on them and they don't sleep with me but if you're someone who says "It's JUST a dog" we probably wouldn't get along.I would like to learn how to play golf, and maybe learn how to dance. But it will take some serious patience to get me to the point where I can do either without embarrassing myself. I believe relationships take work, but there are very few problems that can't be solved by open conversation, a sincere apology or a nap. Let's get to know each other and see what happens. It's a scary world out there, and there is no shortage of wackadoodles, so our first date will be somewhere very public, but hopefully quiet enough for us to talk and get to know each other. It doesn't have to be a big deal. By the time we meet in person we will have ***, texted and talked on the phone so we will just be trying to figure out if there is any connection there in person.
