I like all things that have to do with water - boating, walking along the beach, biking along the beach, kayaking, catamaraning...this is an important part of my life and want to find someone who shares these passions. I'm newly divorced so am interested in dating and not a serious relationship but am open to what happens when meeting that special someone. My professional life is in the science and medical field. It's important to me to be with someone who is ambitious and has a good foundation in their career. What makes me unique is that I am very much an adventurous person who is into athletic pursuits (kind of a tomboy) but have a very intellectual/classy/girly side - my friends say I'm a very balanced and multi-dimensional person. I'm romantic and know how to treat a guy. I am very affectionate, loyal and sincere and love to cuddle. I seek someone who is loving and a gentlemen - someone who understands that I'm independent but also understands the sweetness of opening a door for the woman they care about. A great sense of humor is a must - not looking for a class clown though - someone who sees the silly side of life and likes to laugh - your wittiness will not go unappreciated.- I will be forever in your debt. It's a clue early on that caring is part of the relationship by doing special things for each other - ideally these little things are done early on as well as when the relationship is established to keep things fun and full of life. I love all kinds of music from the 60's to current - though I prefer the blues and rock. I love to have a few margaritas and dance. But...I will only listen to country if I've had a lot of margaritas - I mean a lot and only if there is a full moon so the howling of the coyotes will drown out the music. I like a guy who can drink a few margaritas but understands what PYA is and abides by it.I like someone who has an intellectual side and keeps current. Not much into politics - I'm a little more to the right than left but still kind of a tree-hugger, animal lover. Like someone who has goals and goes after whatever it is they want to achieve. It's fun to be part of each others achievements in life. I enjoy watching football...to be honest though - I enjoy the tailgating part the best and I tend to ask lots of game related questions because the rules escape me. I must be deficient in football processing neurons but can explain thermodynamics, electrochemistry and condensation reaction mechanisms if you're interested so go figure. Last but not least, if you don't believe in God, we definitely are not a match - not up for discussion. I'm not a Bible thumper and not overly religious but this you must believe in young padawan.I have 2 awesome boyz ***and ***that I enjoy spending time with - it's one adventure after another. We are very active and enjoy camping, skiing, biking, beaches, and roller coasters (ok the boys enjoy them and enjoy listening to my terrifying screams). I'm the cool mom who takes them on the double black diamonds while most of the moms are in the chalet. I'll try anything with them except skydiving - if at first you don't succeed...well,you get the picture. Hmmm...well something like an art exhibit is right up my alley...followed by a glass of wine somewhere or a cup of tea but I prefer the wine. The former provides an opportunity to listen to each others opinions and the latter is like the icing on the cake.

I've been divorced for over 5 years and am now ready to get rid of the single life! LOL. Some of my hobbies include relaxing with a good book, hiking, camping, horseback riding and landscaping. I also enjoy going to museums, festivals and traveling. I also attend church weekly and spend time volunteering. I have a 12 year old that lives at home as well as 2 adult children.
