I am a happy person by nature. I like to enjoy life and avoid drama. I enjoy cooking and baking and my down time is often spent reading. I am also a sport nut and love Jayhawk basketball (March Madness is my favorite time of year) and NFL football and NCAA football. I am told I have a great sense of humor- I like to make people laugh. I attend church weekly and my faith is very important to me. That special guy that I know I am truly safe with in all aspects- physically, spiritually and emotionally. That person that allows me to be me and loves me because I am me. Someone that also enjoys the simple things in life. Negativity is a huge turnoff to me. I believe that no matter how dark any given day is there is something positive that can be found in it. I'd like to find someone that I can talk to about a huge variety of topics. I'd like that someone special that would enjoy spending time with me sitting in the stands as I cheer on my children in their various sporting events. I'd like to sit beside him and cheer his children on too. I'd like to find a man of strong christian faith, someone that knows how to truly love another person because he lives his life by the example set my Jesus. All of the things I described above is what I have to offer and are how I will treat Mr. Right when I finally meet him!!!I am not desperate for a man and am completely content being single. I am 5'11" I realize I am immediately discounting some very fine men because of their height and for that I am sorry but I know what I want and I know what I like. Also, if you are looking for a woman interested in casual sex you are not going to find that in me so please look elsewhere for that!UPDATE: Guys- when a profile says that I "avoid drama" please take that to heart. If you have a habit of being overly dramatic, display stalkerish type behavior, are needy and need constant reassurance then I am NOT interested so please don't waste my time! A nice dinner would be great because every lady likes to get dressed up but also a simple walk and a nice picnic. Even a game of mini golf or a go-cart race...it just doesn't matter as long as he is a gentleman.

So I'm back on meetville. After a year and half I've met 5 people from this site. Four were nice guys just not the right one for me. The last was a text book sociopath - consider myself very lucky that it only went as far as it did. Still amazed that I let it go so far. Lesson to myself, follow your gut. So I figured the odds are good at maybe finding some decent people on here, right? ***ain't bad?? We'll see...So about me...I'm a mother to an awesome 10 year old kid. Everything seems to revolve around him, as it should. Time is precious and these moments will be gone before we know it. Family, friends and God are all right there at the top of my priority list. Love being active...doing new things, seeing new places. Outdoor activities are like food for my soul. Love nature and try hard to appreciate the smallest of details. I have a great career in sales. Have had the opportunity to be a trainer for my company over the last year which has been a lot of fun and was recently asked to consider a management position. That's something I'm mulling over now because I also want to make sure I have a good work/life balance. I'm passionate about what I do but I also know I can let work consume me if I'm not careful.
