I live alone in a great little house with a dog and 5 chickens. It's the first time as I have had family, roommates, or girlfriends living with me for most of my life and only now am getting to enjoy the tranquility of my own home... I own my own business- well, part own now- and am lucky enough to be my own boss in an industry that is both relaxing and cut-throat with unlimited potential for success or fiery failure- it's pretty awesome to watch something I created grow well beyond my reach...I am intelligent, loyal, and fearless.-male; I do not respect authority; and, I am introverted. This mix has made for an interesting life to say the least. As a youngster I challenged dogma and wasted a lot of time arguing with *** I was raised catholic/protestant and have the wounds to show for it. Today, I am very spiritual but in no way religious. I have heard from many people I am a mix of strength and weakness, which I strive to balance. I am one of those people that actually do what they say and make things happen....I have many hobbies including riding any type of board- surf, skate, snow, wake... I also bounce between mtn biking, snowshoeing, hiking, rock climbing, martial arts, and archery. Mostly the latter lately. I used to be really into martial arts to the point of competing MMA style but tore my ACL and had knee surgery which ended my "career" in fighting. I have to say that I am just now fully recovering from that injury as the psychological effects take much longer to heal than the physical. I enjoy movies and documentary surfing on netflix.CYNIC ALERT: I have to say that I have not done a lot of online dating but what I have done has been kind of disappointing. I know it goes both ways and I can be somewhat guarded which can be a problem- but honesty is #1 and I do not play games. I would like someone that wants the same. I'm a teddy bear once I am comfortable.With that said I can say that I am not looking for anything more than to find an intelligent and caring girl to share some time with as friends and see where it goes. If you want a man that will challenge you I am your guy. Please don't mistake that for "arguing". I get along with genuine and intelligent girls. I have made the choice not to have children. I am open to meeting a woman with a child but will not be having any of my own.Overall I am on here to find a connection.     I'm just a normal fun loving guy that just moved back to FL from CO. I still have a place in CO and am trying to live back and forth between the two states to get the best of both worlds -- mountains and tropics. During the week I work somewhat hard, but try to have a little fun on the weekends -- which generally means not being a homebody! Most of my weekend fun, of late, has been good ole clean diving and fishing, but I also love cutting loose (i.e. partying it up) with good friends and family too.
