About Me

Well, here we go...I’m John, a genuine, caring, loyal, loving and sincere guy, I’ll find it hard to sell myself in words on here so please bare with me, I’ll apologise in advance if I do ramble on, however the more you find out about me the more I hope you like...I certainly follow the rule ‘treat people as you would like to be treated’, I believe in good old fashioned values and still see opening a door for someone, buying flowers and treating that special person like a princess to be important. I’m a great listener (and talker) and will always try to work through things as a team. It’s great if a couple can be best friends to each other, knowing that you can talk about absolutely anything...’t really enjoy my job but don’t hate it either, always looking for inspiration to do something I really enjoy but it’s becoming harder to gain the experience the way the world has become. My job is great in the sense I only work Monday to Friday so my weekends are always free to spend time doing things I love. Although life is always better when you have someone to share them with.I’m a pretty laid back guy and love doing most things in life (laid back as happy go lucky, not laid back as Zzz I don’t care) I love my music and I love films. At present I’m playing (**COUGH**) learning to play the guitar and getting into this as much as I can, picked it back up again after a long spell and I’m finding it just as hard! It’s been 6 months now though and it’s getting easier (he says :- So music wise I’m really an indie guy, listen to most genres but indie is where my heart lies, love going to watch live music and this could be anything from a well known band to gigs in the park/pub etc...I’ve done a few crazy things in my time for charity. Jumping out of a plane at 10,***feet has to be the best so far. The adrenaline rush was out of this world. I’ve also done a bungee jump and many other crazy stunts. I’m a true believer that you only live once so lets make it as interesting as possible...I’m up for anything fun and daring...I also love films, favourites would be a blend of horror, thriller and comedy. Again, I can watch most things and find it easy to get drawn into a decent storyline. I’ve really lost count on the amount of films I have seen.Watching TV is a mixed bag for me really...NEVER...it makes my eyes and ears bleed) I have been known to get drawn into some soaps on occasion (tongue in cheek) but I do like to watch documentaries, comedy shows (old and new) used to love Mighty Boosh, Drama’s and reality i.e. BGT, The Apprentice, I’m a Celeb and X-Factor (each to their own I suppose :-).So, other than the norm (if your still reading and I haven’t bored you to death yet) I do enjoy the outdoors, love adventures and love travelling. I’ve been to a good few faraway places but nowhere near as many as I would like too. I enjoy camping (weather permitting), mooching around, running and the beach. I hate being cold - having said that there is nothing like getting wrapped up warm on a crisp sunny winters day and venturing out...It’s the little things in life that make the big differences :-)On weekends and nights though I enjoy various things. This could be curled up on the sofa watching TV/Film, eating nice food in a restaurant, going to the pub, weekends away, day trips, shopping, takeaways, live events or just chilling with some good company and a good few bottles of red wine.So, that’s me (in a sort of nutshell) I did better than I thought to be honest, if you like what you have read and would like to chat then get in touch, I’m a really open and honest guy, love to laugh and love to smile.     Well, to quote the majority of people on here, this is the difficult bit where I don't know what to write. Hmmm, maybe I should just waffle on and see what comes out!I could tell you about how I own my own business, but that may just bore you at this stage.I have lived &;....Although, would love to travel to Oz, Vietnam, South Africa & many other places!!I could tell you about my Motorbike, Honda Fireblade. Love getting out when the weather allows and just blowing the cobwebs away.I could tell you about my hobbies. I train in Karate twice a week and play Badminton twice a week, but am far from the fittest person around. I enjoy Skiing holidays and have ski'd the Black runs in the Canadian Rockies, but prefer Europe. Have also Scuba dived in Tenerife which was greatI enjoy most motorsport such as F1 & MotoGP (never miss a race) and always try to get to Silverstone! Unlike most blokes I hate football..... Probably cos it's full of cheats!; All that said, I am more than happy just chilling at home with my feet up.I enjoy watching films and read a lot.Oh, and enjoy the odd night in town just to let loose, even if these days it does include winding the kids up that think they own the place.Well, thats my waffle. I hate nothing more than people that think they can be unfaithful and it's ok!!...........Of course if you don't have a Private Jet, then I guess the old cliche of going for a quiet drink or a meal, but sometimes it's more fun to get out and just hit town for a few drinks. Or maybe just an afternoon bowling. Anything goes as long as we spend time together and see how things go.

    I'm fairly new to town as i moved 2 year ago to start a new life in here. i've worked ten years in publishing and think books are the place you can find answers but only if you ask yourself any question ;). i have amazing friends i share my time with but i would also like to meet someone to explore the beauty of this amazing town going for long walk in a park, visiting museum, theatre, comedy and also enjoying the nightlife with.
