About Me

Hi there! Before I start, I'm going to give you advanced warning: I probably have the longest profile on this site. I'm a writer, so it's my nature to go into details. If you want the abridged version: I'm a great guy and worth taking a chance on. But if you want to know more about me, please read on. I've been writing on-and-off for a while now, and I hope to self-publish my first book soon. I've always been a very creative person when it comes to the arts and I like to think of myself as a modern-day renaissance man. I have a thirst for knowledge and am always collecting new skills: As well as being a writer, I'm most prominently an artist and a computer programmer (neither professionally, of course.)As for hobbies, outside of my creative endeavors, I enjoy watching movies and television, playing video games*, reading books (or the web) or just listening to music. I don't really care for sports and have never been a bar/nightclub guy. That's not to say I wouldn't enjoy taking a girl out places if that's what she likes, but for me, home is where the heart is.Personality-wise, I tend to be very laid-back and easy-going (most people would say I have a calm, collected demeanor.) Although I can be very passionate at times (all that Italian blood, heh.) I'm also very funny, and I can usually bounce between silly and goofy humor to something a bit more dry, sarcastic and deadpan at any moment. I like to make others happy, I have what some call a "white knight personality" because I'm very protective of people I care about and I tend to put their needs ahead of my own. As such, you'll find that I'm very kind, caring, loyal, and honest to a fault. I'm also a very decent guy, with old-fashioned morals and family values, like a gentleman from an age long ago that you rarely see outside of Black and White movies anymore. And since this is a dating site, I should mention that I'm also a total romantic and very affectionate. I'm the type of guy who would prefer to spend quality time cuddling on the couch in front of a movie or the fireplace with the girl he loves over anything else. And no, I'm not talking about sex, I'm just talking about holding her in my arms and sharing that moment.As for the type of girl I'm looking for? I assure you I am not one of those game-addicted guys who spends all day doing nothing but playing Call of Duty against 13-year- Games really are just a hobby for me, a form of entertainment that I sometimes indulge in. I often go days or weeks without playing because I'm wrapped up in other projects like my writing or artwork. And while I do enjoy a good first-person-shooter every once in a while, I close to never play games online. And in the rare *** do, it's usually with lifelong friends who live too far away to play with face to face (and rarely ever is it a first-person-shooter like CoD.)

    Simple, single, playful, active, light-natured(drama free) guy open to the chance of meeting an interesting woman. Not sold on the idea of internet dating, it seems contrived and superficial. Being in nature is always good, have a fondness for cycling, hiking and walks, but not so much sunbathing. I do stay fit and active, but nothing religiously. I eat healthy also, no fast, chain, or overly processed food. The music genres I enjoy are ska, rocksteady, roots reggae, punk, hardcore punk, bandcamp punk, garage rock, blues, jazz, classical/chamber, classic R&B, regional/world music.As for who I am attracted to, personality means a ton to me... someone nice, compassionate, kind and giving. A lot of people start out this way then turn bitter, that's a mistake I think, you shouldn't stop being a nice person, just find people to surround yourself that can appreciate it and not take advantage of it. Hate is easy, to love takes courage and patience. No racism, sexism, or homophobia, I ain't got no time for that! ...Cute and relatively fit/ healthy are about the only physical "requirements" I have. I often find myself attracted to the type of physical peculiarities that people often feel compelled to cover up or pay to get changed. Curly hair, yaeba, freckles, those sorts of things. The types of things that makes one unique, really not looking for the "everywoman". If you are the type of woman that finds herself comfortable without a lot of make-up or hair primping, its all the better, I often fall for the natural look.If your profile contains any of the following terms, I doubt we will be very compatible..... =PI am in no rush, we should get to know each other and develop a friendship first.     I might not be the tallest guy in the room, but what I lack in height, I make up for in personality.
