I'm looking for an ambitious, educated, strong and passionate woman who isn't afraid to show her strengths and doesn't hide from her weaknesses. A sense for passion for life, laughing, traveling, music, cooking, intimate moments, great conversation and positive people are virtues that inspire me to live life to its fullest. I'm a confident character with edge, determination and never avoid confrontation. I live by my reputation as a straight shooter and guided by my integrity and doing the "right thing". I stand up for others when they need it and always stand by the ones I care about. I'm addicted to passion, love romance and sharing moments, but I am in no way a wimp. I was once a "bad boy" (don't worry, never killed anyone:) and have spent the past 18 years maturing and putting that fire to good use and created a life that both mom and I are proud of! With my undeniable passion for food (I'm an International semi-retired chef with 20 years experience), traveling (lived all over the world), laugh (lots), love (with passion) and life (is short). I have invested my time enjoying the little things in life. I don't sweat the small stuff, I laugh at myself everyday and talk to strangers often. I have worked hard to be both successful in my career and in play, and I absolutely have place in my life for... you ;-)I have turned my passion for hotels and restaurants into a concept development business which I started years ago. I have recently added to my business profile and am currently developing a software for the hospitality industry.To summarize, I'm looking for the person that we're all looking for in our own way. How we have this pre-disposed/determined view that this online thing is “seedy”? But if that’s the case, then why is it better to drag it out for 2 weeks, waste our finger strength only to find out that the guy you’ve been IMing is really a 60 year old transvestite (unless you’re into that)? Weird notion, but when and if we met on the streets, in a bar or grocery store, and one of us walked up to the other and asked them out (my favourite way to meet people), we would know almost *** we were interested right? We wouldn’t say, “ok, but before we go out, let’s go home, *** for a couple of weeks and then we’ll meet up and go out!”?Nope, not me, not interested...I need chemistry, body language, and most importantly, I need to meet your energy! After all, yes looks are important to me, I have always dated (what most consider) beautiful women (but never just because of their looks) and some of my best assets are made up of my passion, ambition, success, intelligence, charm and super importantly...my humour! Ergo, my just above average looks (it’s ok, I’m very self-aware and not self-deprecating) is not the best part of me, and my super “hot” guy friends have never been able to keep the attention of the smartest and most beautiful woman in the room like I can :) I’m talking about substance.I lived a long time in Europe, where dating is normal, there isn’t the same hesitation or fear of “is this the one” as there is here (there’The truth is, I’m not excited about going out with “girls” for the sake of feeling good about myself, or getting another “notch” in my bed. I’m 36 years old looking for a woman to share my life with (eventually, so relax :), I want an equal partner with a lot of the attributes I mentioned. But our first date won’’t even be a first date...I don’t know if we’ll even like each other much after an hour, I certainly don’t want either of us to be uncomfortable or feel awkward about our exit strategy! So I won’t invest my day/evening on someone I haven’t met. So the first time we meet, how about we meet on a corner somewhere, no commitment, and get a sense of one another...if it goes well, then we’ll take it from there? :) So if you made it through all of that profile, were able to read through the lines, take some of what I said with tongue N’ cheek, still interested and message me in the next 5 minutes, I’ll probably ask you to go for a quick drink and or meet outside your local dépanneur, and share a bag of fuzzy peaches in an hour and we’ll see if there is chemistry (then we can text and *** want :)
