About Me

I would say that I am somewhat of a "Domestic Diva". I enjoy cooking and taking care of the house, cleaning, decorating...whatever! I like to have a good time as well but usually after all of my chores are finished. I listen mostly to country music but I like other music too. Although I do not have any pets at this time, I am a huge animal lover, most of all Boxers but I love them all! If I won the lottery I would definitely start a pet rescue. I enjoy travel, working in the yard, spending time with family and friends, cooking out, good wine and curling up to watch movies on a rainy day. I enjoy taking a walk or going for a bike ride...let's just say that I am easily entertained.It is my desire to meet someone that has similar values and interests. My perfect mate is caring, kind, dependable, thoughtful, funny, handsome, somewhat fashionable, able to socialize well in any setting, polite, smart, hard-working, enjoys helping others, can spell, and visits his dentist regularly. :-) Above all else, a good heart is a must! I am very tidy so, ideally, it would be great to meet someone that also has the "clean gene" or at least is not the opposite end of the spectrum.I am interested in someone that lives a fairly traditional life (not a workaholic), is somewhat domestic and enjoys spending time with their significant other. I believe that all relationships require work but if it's the right relationship it shouldn't seem like work...having someone in your life should make things easier, not harder. Happy fishing!     I'm back. Again. After taking a break from meetville I find myself once again back here. Although this is not a bad place to be, its really not my intent to stay here for long.With that said, I'll give a brief description of me and what I am about.I am a single mom of 2 kids, although they aren't kids anymore. Both are over 20. I own my own home, car, work full time at a job I love. In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, although I don't get there as often as I'd like. working long hours, house maintenance inside and out take up many of the 48 hours that I am not at my "paid" job.So if I find myself too exhausted from a long day at work, I enjoy sitting on my deck listening to nature, having a glass of wine and just decompress.I love going for walks, biking, sitting on an out door patio, going by the canal, taking a drive in the country, cooking a meal with someone over a glass (or 2) of wine, campfires, sitting by the water, enjoying nature. Simple things.I like to travel although haven't had many opportunities to do so. I do plan on travelling hopefully in the near future. Family and friends are very important to me. I will defend them and anyone else. I will especially protect anyone vulnerable - animals, children, elderly - without a second thought.Truth, honesty, respect is #1 for me. If you can't offer that in a relationship (friendship or romantic), then it wont work. Physical attraction will spark my interest, but sense of humour, personality and charm will keep my attention! Looking for someone genuine, who has a positive attitude, a great sense of humour, is laid back and doesn't take himself or life too seriously . If there is a spark and we connect, everything else will fall into place.It could be my old fashioned values but there's nothing more attractive than a confident guy who takes initiative. :0)I've put dating on here as what I am looking for but ultimately I would like to have a relationship.
