I like street fairs and parades! I love thrift shops and fleamarkets. I am not a clothes horse. I appreciate a well put together look! I love the sun and the blue of the sky and a starry night. I don't mind the rain. I love the ballet and the opera. I don't read much but I have a pretty good handle on classic literature.I have three daughters. We are friends. I love them very much!!! I'd like a lunchdate in the city...maybe sandwiches in the park. I'd like the opportunity to talk. If music is involved that's a plus. I love street musicians!!! I get lost in the city. I'd like my date to lead. If we stay on the Island I could get lost here, too but it's easier for me to find my way back home. I don't eat much meat and try to stay away from too many carbs so a half of tomato sandwich would be lovely!

I could say a lot of positive things about myself... I'm outspoken, honest, loyal, affectionate... but when it comes down to it, you don't know someone until you spend time with them. It takes time to see if you have the same goals in life, want to do the same kinds of social activities, etc. I don't expect to meet someone and have some sort of OMG this is the one reaction. I'm looking for someone who has left their baggage in the past and is ready to move on with an open mind. No jealousy, no drama... just spend time together and see if we get along. If nothing else maybe we can make a new friend. Honestly, I'm not big on "dates". I think when you go on a date, especially with someone you don't know that well, you are under a microscope. "Do I like this person enough to go out again".... who knows? I don't think that can be determined after one meeting. I would rather get together in a more social type setting where you can hang out and talk and be yourself without all that dating pressure.

I am both easy going and outgoing, hard-working, loyal, family oriented and at times a little goofy. I like a man who is genuinely amiable, active, and knows what he wants. Ideally, he would enjoy good conversation as much as I do, can be serious when necessary but isn't afraid to show his playful side. I tend to be a bit old-fashioned when it comes to a first date or meeting. Preferably, a public place for coffee or a drink, where we can talk and get to know one another.
