I'd have to say I'm more "curvy" than "average" but that wasn't an option. I'm an independent woman but kind of an old fashioned gal too. I may initiate first contact if I'm feeling 'frisky', but my preference is a man who takes charge and initiates contact himself, so just because I don't contact first doesn't mean I'm not interested. But don't ask me to fall for you unless you plan to be there to catch me. I definitely don't consider myself an 'average' gal, I can be a little fiesty. My heart won't be given to just anyone, and I'm a little gun-shy so it might take me a while to get there, but when I do commit to someone, it's 150%. I've loved and lost; but I really do want to believe that there is still that magical, passionate, butterflies in my stomach, heart skip a beat when I hear your voice, knowing winks and stolen glances across a crowded room, can't wait to get my hands on you, kind of love out there for me somewhere. I'm growing cynical though, I haven't met anyone who could sweep me off my feet. Can you? I am happy and blessed and am passionate about life, I would like to have someone to share it with. Without question, the most important trait I’m looking for is good old fashioned honesty, and you can expect the same in return from me. And you must have the courage of your convictions! Aside from being a sports fanatic, I like to try/learn new things, enjoy good (intelligent) conversation, am not afraid of a heated (respectful) debate, and love to dance (especially to live music). I adore a good sense of humor, make me laugh and I'm yours, especially if you can laugh at yourself. Physical chemistry is also a must, but it's that 'connection' that will remain when looks fade.It would be fabulous to find someone who found my flaws endearing, and I his. I have high standards, I won't be satisfied until I find a man who can touch me; mind, body, and soul (notice the sequence there). I may be asking a lot and thereby narrowing the field, but in my book that's a good thing. I know what I want; but more importantly, I know what I don't want. If that means I never find what I'm looking for, so be it, but I won't settle for less. That said, I'm in NO rush. My life is great as is, I stay very busy, and finding a mate is not at the top of my priority list so sometimes I may be on here and sometimes not. I'm well aware that I'm not everyone's cup of tea and it's fine if I'm not yours, I'd rather be someone's shot of tequila anyway. ;)I find intelligence sexy, the occasional typo is to be expected but I appreciate well written profiles and e-mails. A "u" does not mean "you", it means someone is too lazy and disrespectful to type 2 extra characters. If tattoos are a deal breaker then I'm not the gal for you. Mine are very significant to me, only one is visible to the general public. If things progress, maybe you can go on a little scavenger hunt for the others. ;) If you would like a response from me, please have pictures, it's only fair. And guys, if all of your pic's are of you in sunglasses and a hat, do us gals a favor and post at least one without 'em. And I thought it should go without saying but apparently not; we really do not find shirtless bathroom mirror pic's attractive, most of us find them a turn-off.And bonus points if you're an asset in the Zombie Apocalypse. ;) A great date is more about the "who" than the "what", that being said, I appreciate creativity and uniqueness, but an acceptable first "meet" would be meeting for drinks at some place casual. A first "date" is a whole different story. ;)
