Hello! Laughing is one of my favorite activities so I love a good (or even warped) sense of humor! My teenage children still occupy a large portion of my time but it seems to be less and less this past year. I have wonderful children and friends. I have been employed with the same company for ***years. I have been blessed with a good, healthy life! I am comfortable in high heels or flip flops. I enjoy campfires and cold beer, candle lit dinners and wine, church, dogs, boating, baseball, volleyball, college basketball, laughing until it hurts, beaches, long walks, kissing, euchre, back- I dislike cigarettes, mind games, drivers that stay in the left lane, drama, winter, rudeness, arrogance, deception, yard work (but I do it anyway), when my car is dirty, bad manners, poor grammar, whining, and rain on vacation. I believe some of the sexiest attributes a person can possess are intelligence and compassion. Looking for a tall, confident man with integrity. I miss the companionship of being in a relationship - the banter, the conversation, the intimacy. I am not looking for a quick hook-up and if you are, please look elsewhere. Chemistry was never a strong subject for me in school but it's critical now! The setting isn't as important as the conversation. Something casual. Hopefully, there will be lots of laughter!

Easy-going, grounded, good sense of humor, and on the intellectual side are fair self-descriptors. I love my work but it is not my life. I'm a realist; and still manage to be positive... I might choose a nice log cabin in the mountains by a lake over a crowded beach unless the crowded beach is the entry point for scuba diving. This is not to say I haven't jet down to cabo for some R&R. I just head for the less crowded areas of beach. I have come to deeply appreciate simple pleasures like taking my dog to the dog park, growing my own vegetables and watching shadows on the landscape as the sun sets. I want to remain as healthy as possible, so I eat fairly healthy and workout. I tend to read quite a bit and like staying current on world events. I love family despite their dysfunction... lol... and believe in the golden rule. I communicate honesty my likes and needs, won't judge nor try to change what anyone else likes and needs. I value depth in relationships and love learning about other people's life journey to-date. Learning about wine and food pairing has been a fun hobby, and by no means am I an expert, but I try.. I hike in the Sierras with my dog and love anything outdoors, including a backyard picnic. Other likes include live music, comedy theatre, travel, entertaining, cooking, scuba, swimming, exploring. I hope to meet a college-educated, unpretentious, healthy man. I have stepchildren who are now grown. I loved helping to raise children, and look forward to learning about yours if you have children, and if you do not that is fine too.
