So Black and/or Married is Deal Breaker.Like my headline says this is also a work in progress......I tried this when I was overseas and met some really nice folks to hang out with and I traveled some. I love to stay in touch. So about me...... I threw my work boots away when I got off the plane in Dubai. I eventually have to go back to work maybe something less dramatic like bartender or flight attendant for a lil' while.Tired of trying to save the whole world maybe time to try and save just my little part of it.Just got home and I plan on hanging out on this side of the world for awhile. I like all kinds of music and all kinds of food. I love to dress up, but I'm more comfy in my jeans and flippie floppies.If the destination includes the word beach I'm in. I enjoy the mountains in the fall when the colors are brightest.;I want to see anywhere big enough for that plane to land", or "oh no my plane left me" (again) Got tired of the plane leaving without me so when my son turned grown I started traveling, but my mom says I leave just so I can come home, I really love coming home. My family is all local. There are 50 of us on Christmas morning. I never get to sit at the "adult table" but I carry on a fairly intelligent conversation when I am in the mood. I love to ride, but I don't own a bike. Big trucks and fast cars are sexy.My exes (yes I have plural) and I usually remain friends. We were friends to start with, and stay friends even thru the hard times. I've been told I'm independent to a fault.(its an act to hide my insecurities) I seem to fall for "action figures" (police fire Marine Medic) Still looking for a superhero in uniform, knight in cowboy boots, or just someone that the thought of seeing makes me smile each time. Being over seas has made me really appreciate holding hands, I'm a very affectionate person. Sometimes a touch or soft word is all it takes to put a person at ease. I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve, so it occasionally gets broken. I expect people to be and do what they say when they say it when they don't I get my feelings hurt.(though you may not see it, I hide it pretty well)Have I sparked your interest at all ?     It's the simple things in life that make me the happiest...I would rather have a bunch of wildflowers (hand picked are the best kind) than a dozen roses... I don't sleep around and when I am with someone that is the only one I am with...I have high morals and as I said previously treat others the way you want to be treated yourself so I respect the person I am seeing.All and all I'm really easy to get along with and am just looking for someone to be happy with and spend my life with...my soul mate as it's put...the real thing!!! :) A nice first date for me would be to meet somewhere for coffee or a casual lunch or dinner where we can talk and get to know each other and then take things from there...maybe someplace in town where we can go for a walk afterwards
