About Me

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by. These things are difficult to write, so I’m going to make a list *** paragraphs. Here goes...Ten interesting, weird, quirky things about me:1.) My three kids mean to world to me. My younger two still live at home, but are moving out in January. 2.) I only eat plain M&Ms in even numbers…I don’t eat those very often though. Peanut M&Ms on the other hand…those are shoveled in with abandon!3.) I cannot be trusted around cake.4.) I love, love, LOVE rock climbing, but I took a nasty fall last June and suffered a serious concussion. It’s taken so long to heal; I had no idea. I always wear a helmet when I lead climb, but for some reason, I didn’t that day. It’s the first time I’ve taken a spill 5.) In some of my pictures I have longish hair, in some pictures, short. It is currently short. They had to shave my head in the emergency room after I fell because I had a big open wound on the back of my head. Just kidding…I did have a big open wound on the back of my head, but they left it alone. I just decided to get it cut short…not sure if I’m going to keep it short.6.) I have Christian beliefs, but I don’t believe in a literal interpretation of the Bible. I rarely with see things in black and white. I believe that limits God somewhat...I don't believe that His love and grace can be explained in simple terms; it's so much more than any of us can fathom! 7.) I have a very weird, some might say inappropriate, sense of humor. I love to take a mundane idea/thought and run with it to the point of ridiculousness.8.) I am the youngest of 7. And no, I am not a brat…regardless of what my siblings say!9.) I lost my big brother a little over a year ago; he was in a kayaking accident. It has been a nightmare, but it has made me more appreciative of every moment and every breath.10.) I value honesty and integrity and seek someone who values the same.11.) I am muscular and have an athletic build, but I am not tiny. I’m honest about how I look, I expect the same in return. I’ve dated men who are the same height as me…that's not an issue. What bothers me is when a man says he’s a certain height...say 5'10" or so, and when I meet him, he’s the same height as me. If you're less than honest about something so obvious….it could make someone wonder what else you might be less than honest about... 12.) Oops…I said 10 things…okay…just one more.13.) I am not looking for a gym rat, but I do want someone who takes care of himself….loving the outdoors is a must! What an amazingly beautiful place we live in!I look forward to hearing from you!

    Hi I have a busy committed profession which makes it almost impossible to meet new people. When you go back and forth from work and the gym pretty much all of the time your are in a rut. I am not looking for anything serious but would like to meet some new people to hang out with besides my mother who I think is getting sick of me. I work hard and throw myself into any project that I am working on. I am constantly trying to be a better person, better coworker and better friend. I love going to the movies except that when I go someone always irritates me by chewing ice right next to me, talking or texting so I move seats quite a few times. My taste in music is varied. I love RAP and HIP HOP. Especially in the gym. Country, Rock, Classics, Hispanic. Love a live band even if they suck. It must be the groove and the vibration. I spend a lot of time in the gym these days trying to improve my physical appearance. I am a work in progress. Ok people for all the comments I have received about being a non drinker with the Guinness in my photos. I changed my drinking status to social even though Guinness is not drinking it is "Plasma for the Irish! I think the first date should be a meet and greet at a coffee shop or something like that. No guys I do not think that a hike in the mountains or a road trip to another city is a good idea. Does anyone ever watch the news. I also do not under any circumstances think a female should ask a male for the date. Men do this for a reason. Women are not good at it. I also am not into a hook up made on the internet. There are so many girls that want that so look for them and leave me alone. With all that said I would like to meet someone who can bring something to the table to add to my life. I am not looking to be taken care of. I have taken care of myself for a long time and can do it alone if I have to. If you don't have a job or some goals we will not get along.

    update...if you have children under the age of 16, I'm have to say that I'm not interested. My kids are all over ***I started my family at ***and while I do enjoy young kids, I do not want to take such a large step backwards in my life....That may not be a popular stance, but it is an honest one.....I have been single for some time now and I am ready to change that. I am a fun, attractive, happy, hard working, sweet woman. I love playing pool, going out with friends, & live music. Sunshiny summer days and starry nights. Not much of a winter fan. I suppose that's a remnant of being a southern girl. I hope to find a man who is funny, attractive, and would never order a plain vanilla ice cream. :) A man who is good with his hands, knows how to build or fix things. I am typically attracted to a blue collar kind of man. Something Fun! But not too noisy or else we would not really get a chance to talk. I am not a coffee shop kind of gal though. I have found that pool is a good ice breaker. Occupies your time without interrupting the conversation. Plus, that way we can see if we are good winners/sore losers, lol.

    I enjoy all types of sports and what I don't do I will always try at least once. My workouts consist of boxing,lots of cardio , volleyball and a little MMA. Love the great outdoors but also like to sit by a fire and watch a movie with my feet up possible cuddling next to someone. I have one son who plays college football in state who is very special to me and a big part of my life.I also have two dogs well maybe put together they may equal 1 dog. l like the simple things in life and a nice drive in the mountains or a walk in a park are considered a great way of spending time with someone.
