Thank you for stopping by :) I'm not one to talk about myself, so this could be challenging! I hope auto correct is in a friendly mood today... For the most part, my life is about priorities and time-management ...but I'm far from boring. Although my children are grown, they're still my priority and my best friends. We talk daily and get together once a week. I'm a sentimental sap, so these times together create precious memories for me. I'm learning to balance my free time, creating a social life. I've backed off from the voluntary overtime at work. The 12 hour shifts ***days per week are usually exhausting enough. Who am I? This can be tough for me because I'm typically a very private person. Don't mistake this as being shy. I'm a very outgoing person. I've been told a lot that my charisma draws people to me. Compliment taken! :) I can blend in with almost any personality type from rednecks to celebrities. I love people! I prefer to distance myself from the over-the-top loud, drama loving, gossip type. That behavior is unnecessary and negative ...just my opinion. Staying positive and happy works wonders for ourselves and those around us. I'm not the "she's so happy she's annoying" person. However, I am upbeat, motivated and energetic (thanks to coffee and vitamin water). I also value those lazy days on the sofa watching TV. Since I do value my free time, I tend to move slowly. We can't exchange a couple of *** arrange a date. It takes a little more than reading a profile and having a common interest. I have to get a feel for you and your personality. If you're shy, we're probably not going to hit it off. It takes all types to make the world go 'round, but for me, a sense of humor is #1!! I'm pretty goofy lol At the same time, I need intellectual conversations. Don't expect me to know about rocket science or our musculoskeletal systems, but current events ...and sports can usually grab my attention. I'm always willing to discuss and learn new things. At times, I can be "just one of the guys". Especially NFL, NASCAR, and open-wheel! Yes, I'm serious! ;) The month of May is exciting simply because of all the activities and interaction at IMS. Garage passes are a nice bonus too! :) Oh - music! I have a passion for music! My parents met while playing in the same band ...and no, I'm not a flower child. They were classy and had beautiful harmony. Unfortunately, I'm the only member of my family who was never coordinated to learn to play. I did the next best thing. I bought a karaoke business! NOT the smartest choice. After 3 years of torture, I sold it. Music keeps me motivated, whether working, driving, or doing house work. I like almost all types of music, but my mood determines what I listen to. True story!! Ok, stop laughing! He's brilliant! ;) WHO am I looking for? Actions speak louder than words, so although your profile may be impressive, it's more about WHO you are. I have a soft spot for the elderly and those with disabilities. Have you ever listened to an elder describe their childhood? They can paint such a vivid picture. They also love reliving those memories and appreciate that someone is willing to listen. It all boils down to respect and being a kind person. I'm not judgmental, but it has always been a personal choice to disassociate myself from those who use drugs. If this is your lifestyle, it's a deal-breaker for me and I urge you to seek help :) Ok, the biggie ...love! I'm in no rush! It takes me quite a while to get there, but once it happens, I love with all my heart. I'm yours and only yours! The journey takes trust, commitment, honesty, loyalty and communication. I value my relationship with God! He has blessed me in more ways than I could acknowledge! I thank Him daily!Well, that's me at a glance :) First date has to be casual. Somewhere we can interact, such as a concert, festival or a race :)I think dining out on a first date is awkward. Who wants to try to carry on a conversation with a mouth full? lol

The question is, does it to you?????When I'm dating I want to spend time with that person. I do not work an 8- I love music! All kinds except classical and I LOVE to dance. It would be AWESOME if you did too!!!What peaks my interest? A man that is strong yet can be tender, capable & caring, and not afraid to show how they feel. Someone that is NOT afraid to wrap you up in their arms and just be a shelter from everything for just a bit. I like a good sense of humor, whether dry or outright silly. He's got to love to laugh! I'd like to find someone special that is honest, forthright, passionate, diverse. All this is kind of a wish list, there are so many combinations that can be appealing.
