About Me

Looking for any sort of friend, really, but hoping for LTR eventually. I will not be compatible with conservatives, the religious (spiritual people, however, are highly desired), law enforcement/military types or any groups with similar mentalities. I am NOT old fashioned and I will be bored with the usual dinner/movie, dinner/couch lifestyle...though I'm not at all opposed to a homebody-type life.I would prefer someone who uses proper grammar. I like my men a little bit older...at least 10 years, but I'll consider the right man who is around my age. I'm looking for a physical and sensual relationship. I'm completely happy being single, so I'm willing to hold out for what I want even if it never comes. I want to surround myself with positive-minded, upbeat people! so if you have gotten this far and are still with me, read on...I'm imperfect; you be, too! I don't care what you look like, what you do for a living or what kind of car you drive (though please drive something!) Funny people go to the front of the line. Funny people who are also smart and good conversationalists get in the "speedpass line." I can cook. I can even make a man a sandwich.I like my house to be clean, but my car is disgusting. I will also kiss a fish before I throw it back. And that was me, myself, taking the hook out, just so you know. I like to watch baseball, football, hockey and ice skating. I prefer the Winter Olympics. In the age old question: "Dunkin Donuts or Krispy Kreme?" The answer is Dunkin Donuts, hands down. Let's go hiking, swimming, kayaking, rollerblading, bicycling, boating or tennising ;) I enjoy anything to do with the water, nature, the arts. My favorite tv programme is Top Gear UK. UFO's are real. My work here is not done. I grind fresh coffee beans and I might be an addict.I have 2 amazing sons, one grown and attending UGA who lives in his own house, and one almost grown, in high school, who lives with me. They are large, powerful and protective sons....(thought I'd just throw that out there now since this is that frightening realm we call "online dating!") Obviously, they are still my number 1 priority, but they seldom actually need me since they have fun and interesting lives of their own, so I fairly often find myself with nothing to do and nobody to talk to.I have the luxury of working from home and setting my own schedule, though I do sometimes have to work nights and weekends. I'm happy to work my schedule around to spend time with you, though.May The Force be with you.And now, now...I want to learn about YOU! Something unconventional. I am greatly pleased by imaginative and inventive people. If you catch me on the right night we might be able to go see my son play music at one of the venues downtown (after all he is my favorite band). Or perhaps you know a good spot for great rocks as I'm starting a rock collection now that my shell collecting days are on hold since I no longer live at the beach (a girl's gotta have a hobby) or perhaps we can dig out my really lame, but fun telescope and start a year's worth of star gazing, watching and plotting the movement of the heavens...or we could just do dinner, because I do like dinner!

    Hi, does anybody get off this site ? I have been off this site for a few months ( because i was sick of it , and not having any luck) and i think the same people are still on here - its kind of discouraging . Anyway Thanks for taking a look at my profile. Lets face it most of us are visual people my pictures are up to date and I hope yours are too. Lets face it we are never going to find the person that we have conjured in our minds. Let me ask you , do you enjoy the meaningless conversations, coming home to an empty house, cooking dinner for one? Lets face it our dog's don't care how are day went..Just maybe some of you should ask yourself's this one question... Would I date myself? I know for a fact I would date myself, I am fun , love to laugh, like sports (baseball being my favorite),camping, fishing,golfed for the first time last summer and really liked it ( hope to golf a bit more this summer, walks in the woods, and much more.
