Wouldn't it be great to find someone that you could sit and talk to for hours, and lose all sense of time? Or sit in shared silence, comforted and confident, knowing that you don't need to say anything? I'm a hopeless romantic who believes in fairytale endings. Some of the activities I enjoy include movies, sporting events (especially football and baseball), going out for a nice dinner, and spending quiet nights at home. I have 2 young children (my daughter is 10, and my son is 6), and they mean the world to me. I love spending time with them and watching them grow and learn. My children will always come first in my life, so it’s important for anyone I date to accept that. I'd like to meet a man who shares similar interests but who also has interests of his own. I believe that communication is the most important part of any relationship. If two people can't communicate openly and honestly, the relationship will never last. I am an honest and compassionate person, and I give 100% to any relationship that I'm in. I'm not looking for someone to complete me. I consider myself complete already. I'm happy with whom I am, and I don't need to be in a relationship to "complete" my life. While I don't NEED to be in a relationship, that doesn't mean I don't WANT to find someone special. I'd like to find someone compatible to share my life with. Also, I am an animal lover, and my pets are an important part of my life. It's important that whomever I date can be accepting of this. For me, the perfect first date is casual and short. Meeting for coffee or a drink is good. It's a good start to see if there is a spark or connection, and it puts less pressure on both people.

    Ive started seeing somrone.Don't you love talking about yourself? Well I'm an open book! If I don't touch on what you want to know, just ask! Two of my boys are now married and moved out, my youngest is 19 and moving out soon. I've never had the house all to myself. I'm now at a point in my life that I can do the things that I've always wanted to do. I would love to find a companion to keep me company. I really enjoy going to the movies, theme parks (love a roller coaster), beach, cooking out rather it's at home, beach or camping, nature walks, parks and almost anything that doesn't hurt me..lol There are lots of things that I want to do that I haven't.I have started working out in the gym and found that I'm becoming quickly addicted. I'll never be skinny, but in shape....YES. Got a ways to go but nothing like being a work in progress. I want to do a 5k by this time next year...that is on my bucket list! I really enjoy traveling, going to new places, discovering that cozy little dinner in the middle of nowhere or in a hole in the wall that no ones knows about, cruises are a passion of mine. I just came back from a medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic and had a really enlightening experience. I'm much more appreciative of the life that I live here in the states. Can't wait for that trip. Plan to ride down the Amazon River and have clinic along the river (I believe there are 9 outpost that we will visit). Nothing like giving of yourself to help those that are less fortunate and live in desperate times.I am a nurse, working in a hospital. I'm not rich and don't want to be your sugar mama or your mama of any type. What I'm looking for in a man is simple...honesty and caring. I want someone that wants me unconditionally even with all my faults. I'm not perfect, but i'm a good person. I want a man that wants to be with me and spend time with me. I don't want to smother or be smothered. However, I love to receive that text or call for no reason...just to say Hi and I'm thinking of you. I want to lay on the couch and hold hands while we watch a movie. .it's the simple things in life that are the most amazing at times.
