My adult daughter thinks its time I found someone special now that her and her siblings are grown and on their own. She's right! Been a single mom since they were babies and time to concentrate on me. Never married but hoping that will change one day. New to dating....

I'm a 30-something (stopped birthdays awhile ago (don't judge) :) designer living out in my time in the suburbs. Years gone are the days of bright-eyed innocence and here are the days of children, chores and daily routines. I really believe in viewing life as a half-full mug of room temperature coffee.. things can cool off but, if you choose you can always warm it back up in the microwave. I guess the moral of the story is that life is what you make of it and I choose to make it positive, no matter what! I'm looking for someone real. I'm not looking for a hook-up, or a friend with benefits - that's not me. I don't expect to jump right into a relationship, but ultimately that's my goal. I have a career and really want someone who has their life together and is open to a long-term relationship. I'm pretty open to different things, but prefer a first date where we can actually talk. (going to a park, glass of wine or Starbucks - my addiction)

I'm employed full-time, self-sufficient, have all my teeth, and don't take life to seriously. I'm looking for the same in a partner. Bonus points applied if you are actually as tall as you say you are in your profile. Let's be real. Two hours in the dark isn't a good way to get to know each other and I highly doubt that most of us have a passport handy. Let's stop on the roadside and gawk at the photo op and find a little mom 'n pop restaurant for a great lunch.Riding is really important to me. If you don't have a bike, or if you are just a recreational rider, sorry. By "recreational" But, if you love your knees flapping in the wind and find the open road to be your Prozac, let's meet up and share that natural high. I've taken trips all over the U.S. on two wheels and I plan on taking plenty more. It would have been nice to share with someone special.I've got three teens that are with me full time. I'm feisty, independent, sarcastic, and love to banter. I prefer jeans and a t-shirt to getting all dressed up. As you can see from my pictures, I don't see the need to cake on the make-up. I know how to walk in heels and wear a dress when the time calls for it and yes, I know which fork to use for which course. I do have tats and piercings and I find tattoos on guys sexy as all h*ll. So... if you've made it this far, odds are that you've got a bike, you've probably inked your skin, you've got a sense of humor, you've got some brains, and you definitely have a backbone. I look forward to hearing from you.Peace. We can either meet up on the weekend and hit the mountains for a ride and some lunch or grab a beer one evening after work. I'm really easy-going and life is too short to stress over putting on a fake front. I'd rather show up in jeans, t-shirt, and my boots with a big grin on my face than be all uptight and worried if my nail is going to break. So, I guess if you like high maintenance... lol, not me!
