About Me

I have finally found my dream career. I am a third grade teacher that enjoys the challenges of my job. I enjoy outdoor concerts, sporting events, wine tastings, comedy clubs, movies, theater, museums....the list goes on and on. I like all types of music (except metal and hard rap) but country is mostly on my i-pod. I enjoy reading books especially suspense/mysteries.#1 on my bucket list. I love trying new hole in the wall type of restaurants. I will try any food once and enjoy new experiences (no blue cheese or olives please). My favorite food of all is grilled seafood. I am a very caring individual and am looking for my partner for life. I think family is important and am looking for someone with the same beliefs. Spending time with friends is important and sharing it with a partner would be great. I love the beach as well as the mountains. I am comfortable at the local sports bar as well as at a formal engagement. Tired of meeting BOYS who tell me what I want to hear, make and break promises, and aren’t ready for something serious. Please……mean what you say and say what you mean!!! I'm considered a very generous person in all aspects of my life especially in friendship, family and love. I've been told that I'm smart, beautiful and sensitive, although I also tend to be a bit modest too.     Just to get right down to it, I am interested having in a long-term relationship that will hopefully lead to marriage and family with, to quote Marc Cohen, a "true companion". That's the serious side of things. But I am far from believing that a relationship should be serious and/or boring. I'm not just looking for a life partner, but also a tango partner, a travel companion, a hiking buddy, a game/mini-golf/wii competitor, etc. While I love a great movie as much as the next person, I think it's worst thing for a first date. Having coffee is a great first meeting, but a first date should incorporate an enviroment that promotes good conversation along with doing something fun and different.
