About Me

I recently moved to the area…a transplant from SoCal. I grew up and spent most of my life in the beach cities outside of L.A. Although it was a beautiful place to grow up, I am thrilled about my new adventure up here in the PNW. I chose this area as I have family that has lived up here for the past 15 years. Additionally, I love the outdoors….driving, hiking, camping, spending time outside.Up through this past June, I worked 16 years as a teacher and *** at an elementary school. I look forward to exploring an alternative career path in health and wellness. Moving up here and recreating my life has given me the opportunity to make finding someone and creating a healthy relationship a priority. I’ve done the work. I’m extremely reflective. I believe most, if not all relationships, take communication, compassion, flexibility, and compromise. I’m sure I missed something….I’m open to learning and growing.I’m on this site to meet someone that I can connect with. Some things simply make your world happy! I love sports! Baseball and boxing (and some UFC as well) are my favorite sports. I box for fitness but would totally spar some day, with more training. I must have music and laughter on the daily. I love laughing, making people laugh, hearing people laugh, seeing people laugh-even if they're not with me! It doesn't matter. I could hear people laughing in the supermarket...I love it! And music makes me happy! I LOVE anything from Sublime to System of a Down to Harry Belafonte to Aerosmith to Johnny Cash to AC/DC to Beethoven, Bjork and Bob Marley. And so much more in between! I'm brand new to online dating so I feel a bit silly trying to describe myself here. There's way too much fabulousity to encapsulate!     Wow. What can I say that isn't a cliche or hasn't been written in one of these profiles 1,***times before?? Well,I'll be honest and try not to bore you to tears. At this point in my life, I'm old enough and experienced enough to know what I'm looking for in a relationship and a partner, but smart enough to realize that there's always more to learn...so I'm willing to be open-minded to surprises ( with the exclusion of prison terms or extended stays in mental *** would say I'm warm, personable, funny, caring, compassionate, passionate and down-to-earth.
