I thought this site might be a good way to meet some new people, maybe make some new friends or something more! I'm not looking to jump head-first into something serious, rather to start off casual and if it's there then it will progress naturally. Some of the more important characteristics I am looking for are honesty, a good moral compass and family values, sense of humor (mine can be dry/sarcastic but I can take it as well as I dish it out!), intelligence, and the ability to just have a good time!!! Physical attraction is important as well, but that doesn't mean looking like a model...and I'm more interested in what your profile says than your shirtless self-photos taken in the mirror anyway! But please be taller than me...it's the only physical characteristic I require. I am not interested in anyone who is playing games or brings drama with them...I've done my time with that! (FYI...kids do NOT equal drama, I have no problems with meeting someone who is a dad!) I like sports (Mets/Jets fan...keep your negative comments to yourself!...LOL!), love going to baseball games, going to the track to watch horse racing, playing poker, skiing, fishing, dining out, drinks at a bar (no clubs!), road trips to anywhere, or just staying in & watching a movie, playing a board game or cards, enjoying a home cooked meal and a bottle of wine, just spending time with a quality someone. It's more about who you're with than what you do that determines if it can be a good time. I'll try just about anything once so if you have other interests that are important to you I'd be willing to give them a try! My family & friends are a very important part of my life...too many people I know lose touch with their friends when they enter a new relationship, but mine will be a part of my life forever...and maybe you'll get to meet them one day! Something out of the ordinary and fun, where the opportunity to talk is there but short enough that if there isn't a mutual interest we're not stuck with each other for hours...and if it's going well we can always find something else to do!

Hi! Like most people on meetville, I too am looking for someone who loves to laugh, is comfortable in their own skin, likes to go out - but also enjoys staying in with the right person, is open-minded, honest and perhaps even good looking! So where do I find this person??? Hopefully here! Although I do not feel that looks are the most important part of finding a potential match, I will only focus my search on people who have posted photos of themselves. I love to laugh...in fact, I think a great sense of humor is one of the most attractive traits a person can have. Friends consider me to be pretty quick-witted, with a sense of humor that can be somewhat sarcastic. I keep pretty active, either spending time with friends and family or going to the gym. I think it's possible to have fun in almost any situation, as long as you're in the right company. I try to keep an open-mind when trying new things and feel that honesty is the best policy. I am very fortunate to have a great group of friends (most of them have been my friends for over 20 yrs). My hope is to find my "match", a best friend who is excited to share a lot of fun times and adventures with me. So, do you think we could be a match? If so, please *** anxious to meet you! I had writers block when it came to write about myself. So, I consorted a few people to see how they would described me. Brave, huh? First, my mom said, "You are smart, kind and a bit too trusting of others. You need to learn how to spot a "lemon" when presented with one." lol... thanks, mom. I thought lemons were cars like the Yugo? That must be why I am here. Thanks for the tip!! My best friend said, "You are a crack up, but you need to be better at picking out the jerks!!" Good luck, you will need it." With that I learned.... um, nothing really. Just had fun asking. ;) In my opinion...I am very kind, trusting, goofy, clever and like to do special things for the people I care about. I am secure, happy, confident and a bit mischievous. I love movies, alternative rock music and hanging out with "friends and family." No, I did not steal that term from Verizon. :o) There are many things I have not tried yet. I am working on correcting that. Who knows? Maybe, golf is fun? I love going to Dodger games and tailgating.!
