About Me

I would like to find someone that will start out as friends. I've been hurt in the past so trust is a big thing for me. You must be trustworthy and honest. Im shy to start with but will open up after I get to know someone a lil better. I'm a single parent of 3 girls. They are now 21, 16 & 12, I have raised them by myself and am proud of how they are growing up to be beautiful young women. Now I feel its time to find someone to be in my life for me. I like to do several things like cooking out, going to demo or dirt track races, tractor pulls, watch nascar, go to baseball games. I like lots of different music, watching movies, reading. I spend a lot of time going to watch my girls in their band concerts & competitions during the school year. They keep me busy. I do put my kids first in a lot of things but am finding I have a lot of weekends free when they are off doing their own social things with friends.As I stated above I am shy to start, once you get to know me I can be sarcastic, funny and love to laugh. I am big hearted and willing to help out someone if I can (or you could say pay it forward). I will speak my mind if I feel I have been wronged. I am independent, stubborn, impatient and sometimes insecure. I will admit an apologize if I am wrong. I'm NOT perfect but I AM perfect for someone out there.I think this quote fits me. I'm selfish, impatient and a lil insecure. I make mistakes. I am out of control and hard to handle at times. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best. ~ I do sin, but not the devil.     Looking for a Nice articulate Guy to share some time with, and maybe even do something fun with, I could do something boring too, as long as you thought it was fun. What would be even more impressive is if you did something boring because I thought it was fun....hmmmmm. I was finding that in my living room, I mostly ran into kids, occasionally tripped over a dog, and had to thread myself through various piles of discarded socks and such, yet puzzled as to why I hadn't met any nice men in my living room? So....... that's how I ended up here. I'm pretty easy going; steady, just dress up or down; low maintenance (after all I do like to mow lawns, which means you would like to cook :) I like to keep active and fit what I can in when I can as my life is busy too, just like yours. I like most types of music. Usually whatever is playing around the house. I do have some down time between work, teenage kids and a snoring dog and would love to spend it with that good natured, knows what he wants, able to handle my sarcasm, has a good joke or two, can carry on a good conversation about many things, not afraid to get off the couch, ( unless you're cuddling with me), kinda guy. (ps I'm here for me. My kids or my dog are really not interested in dating you, we get along just fine... though my dog is pretty cute ;) For me a date would be a start.....So here I am, in my living room...... :) Anywaaay..... I look forward to hearing from you. Dinner: Spaghetti and Meatballs on a checkered table cloth... no wait....... it's been done. So has coffee, drink, walk, but for a first meet, that's simple, and not as messy :)
