I am a busy working Mom who enjoys cooking, reading, and playing words with friends, yes, I know crazy but I like it. As for my taste in music, it is like my taste in everything else..... I like classical, southern rock, some country, some pop, some rap, as long as it sounds good, I like it.A few dislikes.....1) Men who are not emotionally ready for a relationship but say they are. Everyone is entitled to a past but deal with yours before professing your desire for a relationship.2) racism- I read this from another profile and decided to use it. We have a black president... Get over it! He's not an idiot... That would make him the opposite if an idiot. 3) Homophobes- They are not evil and have every right to be here, marry etc. 4) closed minded men- your opinion is not the only one. It's your opinion. I may have a different one. That doesn't mean I can't like you and it doesn't mean I will try to change your mind so don't try to change mine.5) too serious- I like men who can laugh at themselves and me when I say something stupid.I'm looking for a serious relationship, if you're not then don't waste my time. On a first, I would like a gentleman to pick me up and take me to dinner at a nice place. It does not have to be overly fancy or pretentious, although I am comfortable with fine dining. I enjoy good conversation. After dinner, I would like to visit an exhibit or museum. Some place that allows for more conversation. Then to top off the night, coffee or a night cap. Again more conversation.

Looking for a Nice articulate Guy to share some time with, and maybe even do something fun with, I could do something boring too, as long as you thought it was fun. What would be even more impressive is if you did something boring because I thought it was fun....hmmmmm. I was finding that in my living room, I mostly ran into kids, occasionally tripped over a dog, and had to thread myself through various piles of discarded socks and such, yet puzzled as to why I hadn't met any nice men in my living room? So....... that's how I ended up here. I'm pretty easy going; steady, just dress up or down; low maintenance (after all I do like to mow lawns, which means you would like to cook :) I like to keep active and fit what I can in when I can as my life is busy too, just like yours. I like most types of music. Usually whatever is playing around the house. I do have some down time between work, teenage kids and a snoring dog and would love to spend it with that good natured, knows what he wants, able to handle my sarcasm, has a good joke or two, can carry on a good conversation about many things, not afraid to get off the couch, ( unless you're cuddling with me), kinda guy. (ps I'm here for me. My kids or my dog are really not interested in dating you, we get along just fine... though my dog is pretty cute ;) For me a date would be a start.....So here I am, in my living room...... :) Anywaaay..... I look forward to hearing from you. Dinner: Spaghetti and Meatballs on a checkered table cloth... no wait....... it's been done. So has coffee, drink, walk, but for a first meet, that's simple, and not as messy :)
