I am a busy working Mom who enjoys cooking, reading, and playing words with friends, yes, I know crazy but I like it. I love to go to movies, plays, concerts, and any place that I have not been before. I love watching college football on Saturdays curled up on the couch with a blanket when it is cold. On the other hand, chick flicks are not at the top of my list. I love a scary movie or an action film for sure. As for my taste in music, it is like my taste in everything else..... I like classical, southern rock, some country, some pop, some rap, as long as it sounds good, I like it.A few dislikes.....1) Men who are not emotionally ready for a relationship but say they are. Everyone is entitled to a past but deal with yours before professing your desire for a relationship.2) racism- I read this from another profile and decided to use it. We have a black president... Get over it! He's not an idiot... That would make him the opposite if an idiot. 3) Homophobes- They are not evil and have every right to be here, marry etc. 4) closed minded men- your opinion is not the only one. It's your opinion. I may have a different one. That doesn't mean I can't like you and it doesn't mean I will try to change your mind so don't try to change mine.5) too serious- I like men who can laugh at themselves and me when I say something stupid.I'm looking for a serious relationship, if you're not then don't waste my time. On a first, I would like a gentleman to pick me up and take me to dinner at a nice place. It does not have to be overly fancy or pretentious, although I am comfortable with fine dining. I enjoy good conversation. After dinner, I would like to visit an exhibit or museum. Some place that allows for more conversation. Then to top off the night, coffee or a night cap. Again more conversation.

I'm a 42 year old single Mom of a 19 year old that still lives at home with me. Hopefully that will change sometime in the near future. I love my son, he is a slob though and I am a bit of a neat freak. I am also grounded, stable, level headed, strong, independent, compassionate and was recently told "You have the most stubborn heart of gold I have ever seen." I have lots of friends I have been friends with for 10 to 25 years. I tend to be a little on the quite side until I get to know you, but after that..... I enjoy camping, fishing, boating, shooting guns, working out, but I also like to get my nails done, put a dress and heels on to go have a nice evening out. I consider myself to be very versatile. A night in cuddling on the couch with a movie is always a nice treat also. My Goldendoodle is the love of my life right now and I spend a lot of time running or walking with him. He gets so excited when I get his leash out. :-) I have a stable career with a company I have enjoyed being with for 7 years now. I would love to find a nice, outgoing, honest and stable partner. Partner being the key word. Someone who is full of positive energy and is NOT crazy. Haha! Someone that loves to go do things and is also handy around around the house. I want someone I feel safe and secure with. I don't think a first date should be anything too elaborate. Something simple, out somewhere quiet where you can enjoy good conversation and determine if there should be a second date.

I love to watch my tv series. My favorites are Criminal minds, NCIS, Grey's Anatomy, and Supernatural. I am working on my Associates degree in Accounting, but I am hoping to change over to Nursing in the near future. I love all music, but mostly the new Country.
