I am a mother of 3 wonderful children. Family is very important to me, and I would like someone who holds their family as an important aspect in their life too. I'm pretty quiet until you get to know me, but once you do, I can be quite the chatty Kathy. I wouldn't say I'm shy, but more reserved. When at home you'll often find me curled up on the couch reading a good book. I also love the ocean and taking long drives to the mountains. I love to camp but haven't gone in a long time. I don't watch a lot of tv but when I do you'll find a comedy/drama/sci-fi show on. I am NOT a fan of reality shows or anything like Desperate Housewives. I love to cuddle and watch movies. I am a horrendous poker player because I can't hide the grin on my face when I have a good hand! I love to play games (the board kind not the head kind) LOL!!! I love pretty much all types of music, but I hold a special place in my heart for the 80's.I've worked in the retail/customer service industry for over 20 years, but last year I made the decision to go back to school. I am currently working towards a BA in psychology. I have been a foster parent in the past, and would like to continue working with children in foster care once I am done with my schooling.I am big on communication and honesty.If we meet and your not into me then be honest and tell me. I'm also not a part time or when you have time girl, so if your idea is going out once every 3 to 4 weeks then it probably won't work out. I understand that people are busy with life and careers but how can you get to know someone if you never see them? I strongly believe that you get what you give. I'm willing to give it 110%!!! Are you??? I'm pretty easy going and it doesn't have to be extravagant, but it must be somewhere public at first.

I like yoga long walks in beautiful places. I dislike most sports, and am not into extreme activities of any kind --you go right ahead.I am looking for someone who likes to laugh and joke; quick witted and comfortable in their own skin. Someone is comfortable hanging out at home and cooking and watching movies, with occasional trips out during the week. A true unappreciated geek who is looking for a quasi-hip (in her own mind because she has a piercing and a tattoo) girl who is independent and will tell you exactly what she thinks.I dislike people who do not follow through, or tell you what they think you want to hear, *** being honest. Lay it on me, I can take it. I can't promise you will like my answer but life is too short to not say what is on your mind. Coffee or a happy hour drink is more than fine. We should generally know within a half hour to 45 minutes whether we like each other or not. The second date is better for a casual dinner. NO MOVIES. I can think of nothing less exciting than spending a lot of money to sit in a dark enclosed space with someone I don't know, and can't talk with to get to know. ;)
