Is it just me or does everyone say the same things on these sites? I mean, unless you're an absolute hermit, yes you probably like going out from time to time. And yes, that gets old every night, so don't we all like to stay home occasionally? Bottom line: I love to go out to dinner and to go dancing but I also love staying in, cooking dinner and watching the latest release from Red Box. Depending on my mood, I'm game for just about anything.I'm one of the few, it seems, that isn't originally from here. Born and raised on the East Coast, I've lived here for 7 yrs and have grown to love the mid-West people. I'm mom to two beautiful daughters who are my everything. If I raise them to be confident, compassionate and happy, then I've done my job. I'm fiercely loyal to my family and friends. I'm usually the first one my friends turn to for advice (I'll be kind but honest!), to vent or to grab a drink. I'm very close to my small family and since none are local, am on the phone with one of them at least once a day. I'm outgoing, honest and a little dorky (yes, I sing very loudly and dance around in my kitchen while I cook!). I'm witty and pretty sarcastic, but can't tell a funny joke to save my life. I'm well educated but a large portion of my brain is dedicated to movie quotes. I'm a glass half full kind of girl. I am drama free and have zero tolerance for drama and head games. I'm happy doing pretty much anything - from getting schooled in a mean game of Sorry with my girls, to taking in a Reds game with friends to dressing up for a night on the town, as long as I'm with good company, I'm happy! I don't have a "type"-- brunette or blonde, slender or muscular, tall or short (although I prefer you be taller than me in heels so under 5'10" need not apply), religious or atheist...all that is just noise. I'm looking for a confident (not arrogant!) man with a good sense of humor who likes to enjoy life! I'm looking for that "spark" with someone. I'm a single mom who raised my son on my own & have a beautiful granddaughter. I'm not like most women, Id rather play & get dirty than to go shopping & wear dresses....I do own a few lol. I'm a tomboy & enjoy doing guy stuff. If I have a man in my life its cause I WANT him there not cause I NEED him there.; bought my own place in '94. Have a house picked out to build just scared to take that step with the economy like it is. I have a Chevy Z***x4 & I love doing woodworking. I work in a commercial cabinet/counter top shop doing laminate work. I've been there 7 years. If I wasn't doing that Id be working on cars....I've rebuilt/replaced a few motors (need to do my motor in my truck), rear ends, can check & change my own oil, flat tire etc, LOVE hot rods & drag racing.Why are men scared of independent women?And if your not over your ex & will jump when she says jump....DONT waste my time!!
