At a stage in my life where mediocre just won't do. I prefer to be alone versus committed to Mr. Wrong. Cautiously optimistic. I am a pretty open-minded person who sometimes goes against the grain. I would enjoy spending time with someone else who shares that quality. The rest you can learn later... (And I am height-weight proportionate and photos DO look like me, lol!)Ok, an updated disclaimer:Wow, this certainly is more difficult than it needs to be, people! If that doesn't work for you, then please just keep on moving along--no hard feelings. I am a single mom of a 3 year old, so my time is limited. However, I assure you, that should you be "the one" or even someone I cannot immediately eliminate as having that potential, then I will make time for you. I guess I'm pretty picky. At my age and stage in life, I have to be. So...if that means I go on a hundred dates and still choose to come home alone at the end of the evening because that spark, that connection, that potential "can't live without you" feeling isn't there, then let's not hate each other for that. I have settled before and hated myself for the bad decision; I learn from my mistakes, so I don't plan to do that again. Sometimes, everything can seem perfect on paper, then--ta da!--no chemistry. Sorry, folks, but I want it ALL! The best friend, awesome kisser, life partner, make-me-weak-in-the-knees guy whom I just can't function without. If you're not that person, it's nothing personal--I'm not even sure he exists! While on my quest for this potentially mythical man, I like to have fun. I'd love to make some more friends as I don't believe anyone can ever have too many. I'm sort of relationship-conditioned after spending most of my life in them, so, sadly, I do miss having another adult in my house who could laugh or cry at the same movie I am watching. Ya know, normal human stuff. I'm the kind of person who likes a variety of things. I'm not a workout or sports fanatic, but I don't mind if you are as long as there is time for me in there too. I do like staying active and doing outdoorsy things as much as I like getting dressed up for a nice dinner date or ordering a pizza and watching the Colts. I also am not perfect, but if we should happen to seem perfect for each other, I promise I will tell you everything you need to know. I don't believe anything real can be built on something less than total honesty. I could go on and on, which is why my first attempt at this was intentionally brief; however, some situations have caused me to want to explain a few more things. So, yeah, I over explain everything too, because I believe the "why" behind our actions is important, so if that drives you crazy, I am not the person for you, lol! Any two people can have a first date. Those should be casual and used to determine if the much more important second date will ever occur. :)

    Ok so here's the deal. I'm a guy's kind of girl. Most of my friends are guys and I like it that way. Much less drama! I adapt to any situation fairly well. I absolutely refuse to drag men in and out of his life. Not happening. As for this dating site thing, I find it ridiculous! How did we become so anti-social that we hide behind our computers? My advice...if you want to talk you better do it soon. I'm not giving this much of a shot! One day I will be here, the next I will be so over it. I'm positive I sound like a **** but that's not really my intention. Take it as you wish. Just know that I rarely apologize for what I believe. I only apologize when I'm wrong (yes, some women can admit to being wrong). Lol No clue. We will deal with this if it makes it to that point.
