Greetings from a lady with an adventurous spirit and inquisitive nature. As a college professor, I spend my days teaching social change through rhetoric and composition, global awareness through the lens of world literature and an appreciation for the humanities in my cultural studies classes. To escape the daily grind, I seek solace in nature...I love animals and have feline roommates. My daily endorphin rush comes from weight training and practicing yoga. Excellent food, whether it is haute cuisine, barbecue or down home cooking is one of the many pleasures in life. I see no point in depriving myself since I work out on a daily basis. (Besides, curves are natural for a woman!) I love to cook, and I take my wine seriously, so much that you may feel inclined to hand me the wine list at dinner.Grabbing my backpack and heading to new places fuels my enthusiasm for exploring the world. I have met a multitude of interesting people and have great stories to tell. I like to think I have a quick wit and a wicked sense of humor. I enjoy cracking my friends up with random commentary and occasional diatribes (the masses are asses kind of thing). It would be wonderful to have a partner to share my travels and perhaps even my life.
