I have a happy life with family who love me and friends who would do anything for me. I like to stay busy and am almost never bored. I love to laugh and do it as often as possible. The single life has not been at all bad, but recently I have found myself craving something more. I wish for someone special to be with me trekking new territories, sharing history and making life an all-out blast! I joined this site with the hopes of finding my someone special. While I do love to travel, see and do new things, explore and absorb as much as the world may have to offer, I am not a party girl, bar hopper, or stay-out-all-night-raising-hell kind of girl. From time to time, I may join friends in watching a mutual friend's band play at a local pub. I'm not a complete stick in the mud, and I love letting my hair down, but I don't go to these type places in search of my next date. I'm hoping this site has more to offer than the local pub. I truly do want to meet someone who is interested in being in a committed relationship when the time is right. I am not looking for a pen pal, text buddy, or *** you contact me, please have intentions of eventually calling and meeting face to face. I'm a snuggling, cuddling, come get a little closer while watching tv kind of girl... A hand holding, whispering in your ear, sneaking a kiss in public type of girl... I am affectionate and I encourage the same. I am not, however, a space invader, and know when it is or isn't an appropriate time for such actions ...so guys, you can now let out that breath you've been holding since you started reading this paragraph ;) I am a devoted mother, but an empty nester. My eighteen year old daughter moved in with her dad two years ago. While we have an unconditional love for each other, there just seems to be so many more things higher on the list than hanging with her parents these days (go figure!). Needless to say, I have had A LOT of idle time on my hands. I returned to school (almost finished! yippee!) while working a full time job, took up a few new hobbies, redesigned parts of my house, and then realized I STILL have a lot of time on my hands. Sooooo.... let's go find something to get into!
