I think it's time for a profile change, so here goes.I like to think of myself as a smart, funny, pretty, interesting woman. My friends agree. :-) I'm currently in the middle of a huge career shift, which includes pursuing my masters degree in Mental Health Counseling. A big change from working in the corporate world, but I think it will ultimately be far more fulfilling. I love to spend time out with people (people watching with friends is great!), I love to spend time home by myself with a good book. I'd really love to find someone to snuggle up and watch a movie with. I like to stay pretty active, but I truly enjoy being able to unwind after a tough week, too. So, a nice balance between work, play, and relaxation would be good. I keep myself pretty busy, but I'd like to find someone to help fill the spare time I do have. I'm working a full time job, plus a part time job, and going to grad school, so I've learned not to waste my time on people that don't put in the same effort. But, if you are worth the effort, I'll do whatever I can to spend as much time with you as possible. I think lately I've learned more about what I don't want than what I do want. Every time I think I nail down what I want, when I find someone that matches the description, I realize that it's still not quite right. I fully believe Mr. Right is out there though. I just haven't figured out exactly what that is. I do know that I need someone that has intelligence, ambition, and a curious nature that enjoys adventures. There are two things that will stop me immediately if I read them in a profile. 1) Answering "no" to "do you do drugs" then listing "420" as an interest. It's ridiculous. It may not be a hard drug, but it is, in fact, still a drug. 2) Talking (or even hinting) about your (lack of) money problems. Are gold diggers really such a huge problem in your life that you must warn against them in your profile? Really??PS - I'm not a big sports fan (though I've been known to sit through a game or two) or super-duper outdoorsy (I do like to hike, but I haven't been camping in years). Sorry! First date is usually a relaxed drink somewhere. Either at a bar or at a coffee shop (as long as I don't have to drink coffee, yuck). It's usually the easiest way to just sit and talk to get to know each other.

I am 35 years old….or like to say that I am 29 with experience…lol Most importantly I am mother of one awesome young man and I have to say that becoming a mother has been the GREATEST accomplishments in my life...I am a single mother in a one parent home so of course my son comes first as it should with any parent single or not! I recently graduated in May of this year. It's been a tough road and had its challenges but I am loving my new profession....it allows me to show off my true personality through compassion and empathy for my patients. I have found it to be very humbling but also very rewarding as well. Now I guess I will just get this out in the open...I have found on this site there is a lot of men looking for just one thing or a lot of cowardly men out there...I believe that attraction and along with that sex is important in a relationship but not everything....I am not just looking to hook up or have a "good" time...Seriously I am 35 years old with a son that is 13 years old so think I out grew all that many years ago! I want the whole package as I am the whole package in return. I am not perfect in any way and not expecting perfection in return just happiness! Relationships take time and effort! I have never been married and engaged once...I am a one man woman looking for a one woman man....a man that is responsible..Mature.. Respectful..caring..Affectionate...funny is always a good quality and etc. As for the question "What do you like to do for fun"...I am up for anything or at least trying it...going to school and working full time I enjoy spending my spare time with my son and/or that special someone. I am pretty much a home body but like to go out on occasion. Nothing better than cuddling up on the couch with that special someone whether it's to watch a movie, news or nothing at all! I have tried to make it a point to get together with my family at least once a week for a cookout on the weekends when it’s nice or meet for dinner. Speaking of cooking...I can cook and bake but with just the 2 of us it seems pointless sometimes....absolutely look to cook on the grill even when there is 2 feet of snow on the ground. I am also know for changing my hair color and style and can't see me changing so hopefully you don't mind. Looking to date with the hopes for long term relationship and yes that includes marriage at some point. If you’re crazy or act crazy controlling please don't message me or if you can't be honest even to yourself don't waste your time or mine! What ever happened to being straight up and honest with people...I have met some pathetic men on this site but know that not all men have this flaw so I am eager to find the exceptions !! BTW...I love football and baseball...Go Blue....Love the Cowboys but hate Romo.....but it sure does seem like that at times)....of course my ultimate favorite team is whatever team my son is on...smiles Seriously.....if u have a cigarette hanging out of your mouth in your profile pic..don't bother...don't have a problem with smokers just think it shouldn't be the focus point of your profile pic...what is up with the sunglasses and the bad Ass look on the face...everyone loves to see someone's eyes and a smile means you are happy...happy people make others happy...it’s contagious so smile....life is too short to live any other way but happy!!!
