If you put a picture of a dog or a kitten as your main pic, it's a lock, I'm going to look, haha. I'm an open-minded person, but tend to follow a lot of traditional values. I believe chivalry is still alive. I go to church most Sundays, but I've been known to spend Saturday night in a strip club. I will recycle anything I can, but love a long hot shower. I have trouble picking a favorite anything because I can't narrow it down to just one. I like happy hours, checking out new restaurants, wine tasting events, dancing, yoga, running, working out and hanging out with friends. I love being around people, but I'm just as likely to go out by myself on any given night. I'm a desk jockey during the day, but I teach yoga in the evenings. Most nights after work, you'll find me at the gym. But only so I can enjoy a really great dinner out. I'll pick a lot of vegetarian entrees, but I love steak :)I'm a pretty down to earth girl. I don't spend hours getting ready and most Fridays, I'd prefer to hit the gym after work and then curl up on the couch to watch a movie and get a pizza. I don't despise texting, but I really prefer a real time conversation on the phone in order to get to know someone. I'm starting to think texting will lead to the demise of great conversation, which is something I find really important in a relationship. Thanks for reading. Anything that allows us to chat a lot and lets us get to know one another.

"Nobody's perfect. We're all just one step up from the beasts and one step down from the angels." Umm, let's see: I'm pretty easy-going as far as dating is concerned. I'm not really looking for full-on commitment right away, but I am open to whatever possibilities are out there. I'm not husband-hunting or desperate for a serious relationship, but if that's what happens, so be it. I am a single mom of two kids and we stay pretty busy, so my dating and relationship time is limited. I am widowed and haven't really dated for a few years, so just embrace the awkward!I consider myself a very honest person and will usually tell you anything, if you ask.I have some issues with dating sites. I mean, it's difficult to get a sense of someone's true personality from pictures and a few paragraphs. And finally, I think it is important to let you know that tattoo on my chest (over my heart) is my late husband's dog tag. I know that bothers some men, so it's just best that you know from the get-go. I have no plans to have it removed; if you aren't man enough to accept my life, and my experiences, then you probably aren't man enough to be a part of my life. I know that sounds really catty (POF won't let me write the b word, because apparently we're all 12!) it's not meant to, just my perspective. First date? Anything that's no pressure. I would prefer not to go rock climbing or something crazy that I will probably injure myself doing. I'm not afraid to get dirty, be it hiking or riding four-wheelers, etc. I'm also not opposed to the whole dinner-and-a-movie route; it's always a good stand-by.

I'm starting over with my romantic life. I have everything else in place, I just haven't found my soul mate yet. I enjoy going out for dinner, drinks, movies, museums, concerts, theme parks, and long walks on the beach. I love traveling and experiencing new places that are interesting. I'm going on a European cruise in Nov and am very excited, it's my first trip to Europe! I'm also very family oriented and love spending time with family and friends. I love my job as a Respiratory therapist. I enjoy the opportunity to help people feel better. I have gained a better appreciation for how fragile life is from working in the hospital for nearly 10 years now. I see how short life can be and try to be a fun and positive person. I work nights, so my schedule is a little different than most people, but I love it.I'm looking for a good man who is not perfect, but who will make me happy. He should be somewhat educated, financially and emotionally stable, have a positive outlook on life, and is also family oriented. I'm open to dating a guy who has kids, but I want kids of my own one day too. I prefer my guy to be good with his hands, handy around the house, and enjoys doing things together. I also have a preference for white guys that enjoy rock music. Something casual like drinks, coffee, lunch or dinner would be nice. I have an annual pass to Busch Gardens and Sea World, maybe we could go ride some coasters and get to know each other while walking around the park. If you have another fun suggestion, I'm open.
