And someone who will communicate thru the good and bad times, who'll never go to bed angry, who will just give it thier all if we shall work out. :) Umm usually I prefer the guy to decide because I am usually open minded about pretty much anything, and I'd hate to pick something that the guy doesn’t really want to do. And when a guy picks what we're doing, it really shows me what kind of guy he is. Actions speak louder than words right? Like if he takes me to a bar then the date is over right then and there usually. I'm not an alcoholic and let's hope you aren't either... ;) I'm not saying that I never drink but on a first date? Really!???? But if we go to dinner and a movie I can see he actually respects me. I just want to kinda get a feel on what kind of guy this is, and if I am interested in giving the guy more time for a second date, because there is no sense in wasting each other’s time if we aren’t what each other wants. If there are no sparks also the date seems kinda useless. There has to be something there from date one. I'm a grown adult, I think by now I can handle a little rejection if I am not what you are looking for. Ways to impress me on a first date :) *Flowers mean the world to me, especially my favorite kind. (Shows you listen and care already)*A guy that opens doors (Gentleman/Old-Fashioned kinda guys are a weakness of mine)*If you look like you haven't showered in days and don't smell yummy like I like then I'm sure there won't be a connection. I took the time to shower and look presentable and smell good, why can't you?*At the end if you are already asking for a 2nd date, it tells me alot too. That you don't need to take the time to think if you life me, you should already know right? I'd like to know where we stand.*I'm not one of those girls who come easy, I usually don't kiss on a first or second date, I like to take my time and get to know a guy before I waste a kiss on someone who isn't worth one.

    Well, I am in college for the second time. I have one degree in costume design for theatre, and I am currently working on a second degree in the medical field. I am a creative and somewhat nerdy woman. I love animals, food, singing and knowledge. I like most kinds of music, but tend to lean towards, rock, dance/club/dub step, country, opera, and some old school stuff, not really into rap in general. I like sci-fi, fantasy, action, comedy, animated and chick flicks when it comes to movies, I don't tend to like slasher movies that are super gory, but suspense and thrillers without being overly gory are good. I'm not much of a sports fan but will watch some sports if I am dating a sports fan. I live a fairly healthy lifestyle, I try to eat right and excise fairly regularly. I love to make people laugh, my tendencies lean a bit towards that of a cut-up at times, and I have been known to resort to corny jokes and goofy behavior to get a laugh. I have been described as, "slightly eccentric." I talk too much when I'm nervous. I am slightly OCD and yet at times lack basic organizational skills. I am a determined and hard working person. I tend to be fairly easy going when it comes to relationships, and tend to be a serial monogamist. I like to think I am pretty open-minded. I am very open hearted, and caring. I wouldn't say I have a type per se, however a good sense of humor and intelligence/education are both musts! Looking for someone with ambition and goals in life, no drugs, no psychos please! Prefer someone without children; however, that is not a complete deal breaker. What are deal breakers: lying, cheating, psychotic/abusive behavior. I am not in a huge hurry to jump into a relationship, but am not opposed to it if the person were right. I am not however looking for casual sex either. Right now I am pretty busy with college and working, but would enjoy getting to know some new people and see where things go from there.On Another note... did anyone else notice that the "describe yourself in one word" option lists several items that are more than one word? I have previously considered requiring interested parties to fill out a pre-screening application and require them to read a list of my good/bad qualities before the first date, and also think the first three months of dating should be outlawed (please note this is sarcasm, however there is some truth to the motivation).
