I keep hearing good things about this website. Decided to take a chance on online dateing lol. Im nicole. I live on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Yet, it is also one of the biggest party destinations. With alot of late nights at work makes it a little hard to meet someone with substance. I enjoy the beach and being active. I love new adventures and have recently fell in love with traveling. goals and aspirations still undecided. I have a strong determination for not settleing for anything less than I want. Im old enough to know I can do it and young enough to know with each step forward Im closer to getting there. Im looking for...good conversation and a genuine smile. First date. Id like the person Im out with to plan it. Obviously something public at first. This is online dateing. In so much of my life I play a leader. Set plans. Organize events. Always the one makeing the decisions and seeing them through. Would be nice for once to have someone else take the time and let me just show up. lol. 'Thought' would be the perfect first date.

I feel like I need to clarify the all too certain classifications listed above. While a relationship would be nice (in the long run), I would also be perfectly happy with just meeting some cool people & making some good friends as well. And even though I would like to someday have children, I don't see it happening Anytime within the next 3 to 5 years at least. A history needs to be built for that sort of thing. The majority of the following is a cut-&-paste job from my Ok meetville profile. One could say that I'm a charismatic introvert. I'd have to agree. As much as I would like meeting new people, I really don't enjoy filling out these things, trying to describe myself & what I want or like in others.I have a BS in Biochemistry, but I work in an unrelated field.(It's a quality of life thing).I work in a restaurant.I love my job, my place, my friends etc.I have fun everyday. To sum up my personality... I probably fall somewhere on a spectrum between Zooey Deschanel & Spock.I could list & try to describe so much about myself, my goals, etc.But really the best way for anyone to get close to knowing me would be to actually get to know me.Adding anything more to what is already in this profile would just feel like another 20 minutes or so of ego masturbation....(The pasting continues)...I'm really good at: Illustration, painting, writing, baking, multitasking, efficient conversation, ...being imaginative & random, ...etc.The first things people usually notice about me:• It was free & I was ready.I plan to grow it out into a cute bob.• My voice -people usually ask me if I'm a singer. It's not raspy. Rather, I could probably do the news.• I'm also often asked if I dance, act, smoke, or do yoga/meditate...I'm a pretty laid back person.• That & my skin. ..People like it.MUSIC:I can usually enjoy all music (Except most country (Patsy Cline & Johnny Cash are okay) & the really hard metals).I find that:•When I'm alone, I'll often listen to classical. I'm currently in love with Mendelssohn's 1st violin Concerto in E minor, Op 64. (It makes me want to learn how to read music & play the violin, literally). Anything Chopin, Beethoven, Bach, sometimes even Revel, etc.•To socialize & work: anything upbeat &/or enlivening.•To draw/paint: Usually everything from Zeppelin to Radiohead & back to classical.•To organize & clean: Everthing from Angry Rap & German metal to Mariachi.MOVIES:As for Movies... ha.. there are just too many.••I enjoy the occasional new wave but not as often as the occasional Apatow-esque film.•I also Love feeling like a bad-ass after a well done super-hero movie. The following is an excerpt from older profiles & does not reflect the extent of my movie interests discovered &/or appreciated within the past 4 years: ...Anything Tarantino, Scorsese, Aronofsky, Kubrick, etc. I guess a few of my favorites would range from 'The Lives of Others,' 'Trainspotting,' 'Fight Club,' 'All that Jazz,' 'Mr.-(the original). etc. .....TV:.....I like food. I'll try anything at least once. Actually I prefer trying new things.I'm pretty particular about my health... Anyone who knows me would say: Almonds, Lentils, Oranges, Tuna, Avocado, & Carrots. I love candy & sweets, but I ..I stay away ...it's a slippery slope.BOOKS:I'll read pretty much anything I get my hands on/catches my interest for the moment, ..typically news on recent research &/or innovations.I regularly enjoy Psychology Today, Dwell, NatGeo, PopSci, Wired, New Scientist, & the NYT online. So far as authors go, I tend toward Gaiman, Palahniuk, &You should message me if:-You enjoy conversations that can delve deep &/or fritter about senseless hypotheticals-find humor in unexpected &/or socially inappropriate places-are generally optimistic & hopeful. (no downers!...not to say everyone doesn't have those days)--You are comfortable enough with yourself & your efforts in life so as to not easily take offense or become unreasonably defensive.Honestly though, feel free to make a comment, ask a question, whatever really. When I'm on this site I'll check out profiles, some of which are really appealing, but rarely have the nerve or energy to make contact.p.s. /disclaimer:I'm well aware of the spectrum of arguments pertaining to involvement with sites such as this; in addition to the relative subset of our population to whom sites like this appeal & are available. In which case, I prefer to acknowledge in a positive light: those who own (& can operate) a computer w/internet access & those open minded, Adventurous, ..& maybe even a little desperate enough to create a profile on a site whose primary focus is, but not limited to, "dating."...Oh & no Fatties. No offense! ..It's a lifestyle thing. ...relative to dating potential anyway The first date would probably not be considered a date. Our first meeting would likely entail coffee or tea in a public location. If a legitimate first date is agreed upon, then it would be nice to go out & actually do something as opposed to the typical wining & dining. (Not to say that food & wine can't be involved, but their consumption wouldn't be the focal point of the venture).

So, I sneaked away that night while the clowns weren't looking. At seventeen, I decided it was time to return home, where I was embraced by my relieved parents and then promptly grounded. I never saw my circus friends again, but I did eventually return to the Hill Country, where I obtained a master's degree, also in Creative Writing. A nice first date location would be a restaurant with good food, like seafood or Mexican. I wouldn't mind going to see a movie similar to the Avengers or Hangover III, then getting coffee or ice cream afterwards.
