So, you have probably figured out that I am a good Ol’ I love my job and the new place I call HOME - My dream of living on or near water has finally come true. I have been blessed with a Beautiful view of Lake Padgett on a daily basis? My profile summarizes me well so please read on, but let me say this - if I do NOT appeal to you on paper then I most definitely will NOT appeal to you in person, but guess what? That's ok, there is someone for everyone and patience has become my friend. I truly want to find similar interest, morals, values, and principles in a potential companion - that way we have a great chance of making it, but then again, gone are the days that most people are genuine, honest and trustworthy. So PLEASE, let your actions reflect your words. I guess what I'm really looking for is that needle in the haystack. People that know me would say I have a great work ethic and a witty sense of humor. I’m social, having a real zest for life, adventurous, positive minded, outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic and I saved the BEST for last - PASSIONATE! I feel if something is worth doing, it’s worth putting your heart and soul into it. I’m also the type that is willing to go the extra mile for my friends and family. I'm usually a planner but enjoy springing surprises occasionally, being spontaneous keeps life more fascinating. I’m “old school”, therefore chivalry rages within me and by chivalry I don't mean just opening the car door, it's the combination of all the "little" respectful things I want to do for a good woman on a daily basis, it's the "norm" so to speak. I really enjoy cooking as well, so please ladies - don't think you'll ever be stuck in the kitchen alone, 2 in the kitchen at the same time, can be lots of fun. I have a green thumb, and enjoy growing a large garden and loads of flowers, something to be said about homegrown! I would have to say Roses are my favorite flower and I’ So many say they don’t grow well here, but then again not everyone can grow a Beautiful Rose! I am a true Hopeless Romantic, so yes, I'm all about a YUMMY KISS and if the kiss is really good, I could kiss for hours and never the same way twice. A bad kiss is a deal breaker for me, so Smokers beware, lol, sorry but it kills the kiss for me! Besides kissing I love holding hands, cuddling-aka SPOONING :) and I’m definitely not afraid to show public affection. I also enjoy a good movie, cookouts/BBQ’s, outdoor concerts, time spent on any body of water is priceless, love boating or teaching you how to fish fresh water or salt, travel, beaches, mountains, or just relaxing in front of a warm cozy fire pit watching the moon rise. I’ I am nearing an empty nest, so it's more of a priority that I find that friendship on fire now. You know, that Frisky Spontaneous Flirty Sensual Passion for each other that most people can only read about or go see it in the upcoming movie, you know – sort of like 50 SHADES of Grey, without the Violence OK :) Soooo if you find yourself seeking that elusive needle too, maybe you should send me a message. I may just be a needle too, I'm just sayin :-) I'm the type of guy that would like to meet in a public place for a short meet and greet to see if there is mutual interest going forward with a first date. If so, then, maybe a fishing trip together, or a bike ride, or lunch, dinner at a cozy relaxed setting, whereas, we can take a good stride towards learning each other.

    I'm starting to bring myself out of self imposed exile,looking to meet some interesting people and see what happens. My interest are many and diverse,(all over the place,Run-on sentences seem to be a favorite)and there are many things that I've yet to try. I just need a reason to get off my butt and try them. Admit it,a hug and a kiss from out of the blue can change your day,plus it feeds my own selfish needs . I don't mind new experiences,can't say you don't like it if you don't try it,except for sushi,that's just bait. Spent too many years doing nothing but working,It'll be nice to have some fun again. I tend to be shy and reserved at first,Then I make up for it when I get to know you. As a Norseman,I'm loyal and faithful to a fault,even when others aren't. I have a deep appreciation for art and culture,as well as nature. I DO stop to smell the roses,and watch butterflies and kids play. Though I'm not a tree hugger,or a hippie. I try to show respect to everyone,Sometimes it's not easy to be a gentleman. So I guess that I'm up for pretty much anything except skydiving,I'm not going to jump out of a perfectly good aeroplane unless the suckers on fire!! Warm weather is here and the bike is almost done!!!For stress relief,I restore motorcycles. I take great pride in taking something that is olde, broken and been thrown away(like Me)and making it useful again,plus it's a cool way to recycle.(I like unintentional puns) I try to teach my girls that there is more pride and satisfaction in something that you had to work for and earn than simply buy. I also try to teach them to be good with their minds as well as their hands so that they can be self reliant and not at the mercy of anyone,yet remain Southern Belles. I want them to be strong and independent,but not intimidating,and not end up with Sissy Boys. I consider myself to be multi-faceted,I don't fit any particular genre'.;Down home",I can fit in anywhere,and I don't mind hanging with your family/friends. I'm starting a new life,so change is welcome. I'm not into one-night stands,or cheap hook-ups,I have daughters and traditional values,So, If I haven't bored you to tears,hit me up. A first date should be low key and stress free for both of us. Probably tea/coffee and some good conversation with a nice walk,then we'llsee what happens.
