I am looking to really get to know someone, and to have someone get to know me. I want to find that special someone who I can't wait to talk to after work, who makes me smile just by the mere sound of her voice, or as I think about her smile during the day. It's nice that we share some common interests, but also have our own hobbies and interests. I love the outdoors, camping, hiking, kayaking or just walking along the beach. I really enjoy going out for dinner, a few drinks or a movie. Staying in and watching something on tv together on the couch is also a good night to me.I do enjoy watching television and my DVR is usually full. Everything from Sci-fi to drama. Crime dramas are my favorites, but love Hell On Wheels, True Blood, The Walking Dead and Justified. I also love movies, especially horror films. Not a huge "; person, prefer the movies to actually have substance. I do love almost all movies, but not foreign films.Some of my favorite foods are steak houses, Italian and Spanish. I love BBQing, and I do it year round...even in the snow! I enjoy cooking in the kitchen too, but need someone to experiment, ummm I mean cook for. You do know that cooking for 1 sucks.I also love animals. I have a dog that is a rescue. He was abused as a puppy and I have spent the last ***years spoiling him. I am not an activist and do not structure my life around it, but I do try to help where and when I can.Here are the two most important things to me that I need in my life. Honesty and communication. Please just be open, honest and not afraid to tell me what is on your mind. The perfect first date for me is coffee. I feel it takes away a lot of the stress of 1st dates. It's usually quiet, relaxing and you can actually have a conversation. If it goes well, there is usually a place nearby to grab a bite to eat or a drink.
