About Me

Good grief, finding the right person is much harder then I thought it was going to be when I first joined this place. I thought this would be fairly simple, find a nice looking gal who shares the same interests, who is caring and respectful and is generally happy. As it turns out, it's not quite that easy is it, lol. Looking for that, apparently elusive, "connection" with somebody has proven to be a challenge. I've met some great ladies so far (attractive, great sense of humor, polite, edgy, sophisticated, hard core, bubbly, soft spoken, outlandish and everything in between). I guess I've learned that even if somebody does have many of the same interests as you, there's still a deeper level in which people connect at. It's really hard to explain and I don't even know that I can. I've had fun on my dates (well most of them anyway) as I'm outgoing and can get along with most people very easily. But I want to connect with somebody at a level in which I haven't yet. That isn't too much to ask for. We only get 1 shot at this life and I'm going down swinging if I have to. I know she's out there, somewhere, where the hell are you already.......lol.I'm a good guy. I already know that. I don't need to say something like friends would describe me as so and so. I know myself better then anybody else does. I'm honest and fair. I hate lies and prefer the hard truth every time. I work hard, pay my bills and save for the future. I know how to treat a lady right by being respectful, fun, honest and having her back, but don't expect me to mush all over you ***. Some ladies are really cool about that and some just plain trip when you want to go over to a friends house or something. I think personal space is super important. I'm not going to list a whole slew of interests I have because I really do enjoy almost ANYTHING. It just depends on the person your with. I can rough it out in the wild, I can dress it up for a night on the town. Traveling is great, so is staying at home. You get the point. It's all about balance. If you'd like to know more, just ask. Sometimes you just never know, until you try. All depends on what type of communication we've had leading up to that point. Favorite books: Most of my reading is job-related, and believe me nobody wants to read those unless they have insomnia.-Imagine by Tom Peters, The Accidental Billionaires, The Pursuit of Happyness, The 5 Love Languages, Headhunters by Jo Nesbo, The Secret History of MI6, various technology books, and others.Movies: Typically I enjoy comedies, action films, dramas, sci-fi, etc. I really like movies & shows that make you think. The Sixth Sense is a good example. I like several of the romantic comedies, and am a big fan of some. Tech movies are pretty appealing, with favorites being cyberpunk-themed. Of course I think that the Friday series of movies are funny too, so I guess it's quite a range of types.TV Shows: Pretty similar taste as the movies. I enjoy Tosh .0, the various Law & Order shows, DIY shows, british comedies in general, MI-5, Numb3rs, travel shows, Big Bang Theory, cooking shows, How I Met Your Mother, Bones, House, The Soup, The Walking Dead, etc.Music: My interests are all over the map-lol. I like pretty much everything that has a beat. I enjoy 80's music (Depeche Mode, New Order, PSB, etc.), rock, some top 40. Seeing live music is always fun, whether it be a concert in a stadium or in a bar.Food: I enjoy a wide range of food, Mexican & Italian being my favorites. I enjoy trying new things and new restaurants.
