Hi! I'm a divorced professional with no children. I enjoy my job & career a lot, but would really like someone to share my life with. Some friends have met some great folks through online dating, so I figured I'd give it a shot.I enjoy doing all kinds of things. Some of these might be going to a movie, live music or concert, travel, a cool restaurant or bar, or maybe even dancing somewhere. I like to entertain, frequently inviting friends over to grill steaks and enjoy some drinks, or throwing a party.I'm an enthusiastic cook, and typically host a big Thanksgiving spread for the extended family & friends. I enjoy taking cooking classes & learning new techniques.I enjoy traveling, with the beach, mountains, Bay area, & Vegas being some of the favorites. I enjoy skiing (I haven't been in a long time, but am really wanting to go again), as well as hiking. My job allows me to travel and I try to check out the cool local stuff. I enjoy exercise, and even like Zumba a lot (I'll wait for you to stop laughing-lol). It would be great to find someone who likes the same, but I don't expect you to join me at a class. I enjoy working out (generally go ***times a week), and would be interested in someone who does the same. I'm stable and secure, have my own home, with a quick wit, and easy laugh-and would love to find the same. I like to joke around to make people feel comfortable, and really enjoy making people laugh. While I can be serious when necessary, you've got to have a sense of humor to cope with stuff right? I enjoy my job, and have a career that keeps me on my toes, and the subject matter changes frequently. I spend a good amount of time doing the continuing education stuff, so constant learning is important to me.What I'm looking for - I'd really like to meet someone who is secure, stable, self-assured, confident, and with a healthy sense of humor. I have to say that a woman that exudes self confidence can be sexy as hell. I think that it's important for you to have your own social life too, so don't cancel those girl's night out.I’m really good at cooking, grilling, making drinks, entertaining, throwing parties, attention to detail, vacation plans, and joking around. And I've even been told that I've got a good handle on when to send flowers to a woman-lol. Favorite books: Most of my reading is job-related, and believe me nobody wants to read those unless they have insomnia.-Imagine by Tom Peters, The Accidental Billionaires, The Pursuit of Happyness, The 5 Love Languages, Headhunters by Jo Nesbo, The Secret History of MI6, various technology books, and others.Movies: Typically I enjoy comedies, action films, dramas, sci-fi, etc. I really like movies & shows that make you think. The Sixth Sense is a good example. I like several of the romantic comedies, and am a big fan of some. Tech movies are pretty appealing, with favorites being cyberpunk-themed. Of course I think that the Friday series of movies are funny too, so I guess it's quite a range of types.TV Shows: Pretty similar taste as the movies. I enjoy Tosh .0, the various Law & Order shows, DIY shows, british comedies in general, MI-5, Numb3rs, travel shows, Big Bang Theory, cooking shows, How I Met Your Mother, Bones, House, The Soup, The Walking Dead, etc.Music: My interests are all over the map-lol. I like pretty much everything that has a beat. I enjoy 80's music (Depeche Mode, New Order, PSB, etc.), rock, some top 40. Seeing live music is always fun, whether it be a concert in a stadium or in a bar.Food: I enjoy a wide range of food, Mexican & Italian being my favorites. I enjoy trying new things and new restaurants.     Hi there~ Thanks for visiting my profile. A little about me... My hobbies are mountain biking, playing music, meditation, reading, watching football(Raiders!; MMA. I don't eat animals. My goals are to constantly improve as a musician, meditator and human being. I think what makes me unique is my interest in Buddhism, love of animals and musical taste that ranges from punk to classical.     Got a couple of "hate mails" so I guess it's time to update the ol' profile. Apparently, some people's sense of humor doesn't exactly line up with mine. I'm 41, never married, no kids. I get asked often if I'm afraid of commitment. I'm not. I'm afraid of settling. Well, not afraid, just don't want to do that. I would love to find Miss Right and get married.
