I am a casual cowboy, my own handyman, I work on my own vehicles and build the things I need around the yard. I've set goals for myself and achieved them: My own home, a great job, a truck, a horse trailer and horses. Every time a major goal is met I create new challenges for myself. A major goal is getting the best shape of life so far and improving from there. I'm not impractical when it comes to the things I want to do. But you have to push yourself to live an unlimited life. We tend to accept the limits we place on ourselves. I may not attain all goals all the time, but I will be a lot further along that if I did nothing. It has always been about both the journey and the destination, can't let one overshadow the other. I refuse to quit until something is done right. My friends would tell you I'm loyal hard-working, reliable, try to help others before myself. When confronted with change I take time, evaluate my options and move forward. Your past will always be behind you, don't need to keep looking back, learn the lesson and move forward.I like many different kinds of music. I pick what speaks to me, and don't worry about the label, genre, or artist/band. First dates are all about getting to know the other person in a comfortable setting. Sometimes that can involve food and drink, sometimes not. I don't have a formula. Every person is different. We deal with a changing world. Work and people effect our moods for a given day. I prefer to work with my potential first date to scope the meeting to suit us both at that moment.If you can walk away and say, that was a good conversation and I had a good time, then it is truly a good date.
