I spent 14 years in the Army and settled here when I finished my service. My hobbies right now include school (takes alot of my time) and two dogs that I enjoy spending time with at the park. I try to get to the gym a few times a week and usually succeed. I love to cook and when I have time, it's one of my favorite things to do...should be there in a few more years! I read constantly, any fiction works for me, not into the non-fiction or self help genres. I seem to be stuck in a kind of relationship limbo. I am willing to dedicate all my free time to one special person, but if you're one who needs constant contact, I may not be the one for you right now. UPDATE: I listed 'dating, nothing serious' as what i am looking for here because I would like a relationship with the right person, but as a matter of caution I don't think jumping in right away is the right path to lasting relationships...unless you are one in a million and we hit it off immediately and we can obviously both feel it.About me: I am pretty laid back and I'm interested in having fun, but i have determination, drive and I am tremendously industrious, professionally. But if we can laugh together, we'll definitely hit it off. I enjoy comedy, absurdity, rowdiness and people that can chime in with their own brand of humor, too. Though I am not always giggling, I think it keeps us all young and allows us to not take ourselves so damn seriously. So I might dish it out a little, but I wouldn't do it if I didn't like you. Oh and I read, too. haha. I know, who does that anymore? From news sites and blogs, to books and magazines I try to stay current about every topic under the sun. I try to learn something new every day and I always have an opinion, I might give it to you if you ask. (or even if you don't) ; I do like Mad Men and Breaking Bad, though. Sometimes a late night DVR is just what the doc ordered.I do love to travel and take weekend trips - to camp, fish, hike, boat, waterski, surf, downhill ski + snowboard (though I broke my ankle 2 years ago on the snowboard!). I hope you do too. I savor adventure and thrills. I also have some creative pursuits: I play the drums, mix films and spin records, but not with any aspirations professionally. I used to do all of that stuff for money and I got kinda tired of the entertainment industry. Although the DJ at a club I was at the other night sucked enough to make me think about getting back into it.I am a tremendous competitor, and I love my work. I do most of these things to fill up my off time so I don't default into work mode. It's very easy to do when you work for yourself.That said. I like to have fun, I am kind hearted and I can't stand the same old, same old. I want to make the most of my time here, so let's not waste it with more of the jibba jabba bull****. So who am I, where do I come from, what do I want, what am I doing on here? Damn good questions. Anyone have the textbook. I forgot what page the answers are on. I guess the best way to describe myself would be to say ever evolving. I love new things, new places, new ideas, and constantly surrendering to what God has to offer me. I have a great business, comfortable accommodations and a lot of great people in my life. I hope one day to find an amazing person not to complete me but to be a sidekick in the adventures ahead. Right now having recently been separated I would just love some good company every now and then. I really like movies, mind you who doesn't, music and making a meal for someone. I take great pleasure in meeting the needs of others. I also have a dog and enjoy going for walks and enjoy going to new places. I work on a race car with my youth group in my spare time and am looking forward to getting it out on the track soon. Once that happens our next project will be getting the boat in the water before the good weather departs us. Having been in sales and business most of my life I am a very easy person to get along with and am very open and honest, to my detriment at times ;). So anyways if you too would just like to hang out and have some laughs I'd love to hear from you. Lets think of it more as just two cool people out for laughs. Go for a walk, Dessert, Trip to the beach, Game of Pool, Watch a movie on my projector, I could even cook for you. I really don't care as long as it is something we would both be comfortable with.
